Coastal Carrier Moving has moved us twice in the last two months, both local moves. The first was the bulk of our furniture, including a baby grand piano and other very heavy pieces; and the second was three rooms of furniture left behind for staging purposes. Both times, Stephen was the foreman and was professional and personable. All of the movers were very polite, accommodating and efficient.Our piano was handled with great care and seemingly with ease. When setting up at the new location, this crew was concerned to place our furnishings just so. Nothing was damaged or scratched, and they wanted to ensure we were satisfied. Truly exceptional! We have moved 20 times in our lives, and Coastal Carriers was by far the best movers we have ever had. Jason P. coordinated the whole process with an efficient but calm manner, even providing us with free moving boxes and monitoring the move every step of the way. My parents moved from The Villages, Florida to Wilmington, North Carolina last week, and we had an excellent experience with the moving team. Tom and Derrick from Coastal Carrier Moving & Storage, along with Dave and Tim from a supporting Orlando-area company, did an outstanding job from start to finish.The team was extremely methodical in their packing, very careful with our belongings, and impressively efficient getting everything out of the house and loaded onto the truck. They handled the entire process professionally and with great attention to detail.They were also incredibly friendly and easy to work with, which made a potentially stressful move much more pleasant. In addition, we had several items that needed to be packed on the spot, including dishes and other fragile items, and they were more than happy to help without hesitation.Overall, this was a fantastic moving experience. Chris and Joe did an amazing job moving my sister Renee from Wilmington NC to Olympia Washington. Renee could not be here for the move so I mediated it and they were outstanding. They knew where everything was supposed to be placed before I could ask my sister! Coastal Carrier moved me out of my house over a two day period in September, 2025. I had sorta of a big house with several big pieces of furniture. I highly, highly recommend this company for moving. They sent a team of 6 people over both days. The teams worked extremely well together. They were professional, courteous, polite. There was no damage to any of the pieces that I could see thus far.
