I will never NOT recommend (and encourage) Good Guy Movers to my friends and family. My experience: Showed up early (with communication) and finished early. Packed neatly, efficiently, quickly, but but rushed. Handled all of my furniture with care and were mindful of both the old apartment I was moving out of the new apartment I was moving into (walls, floors, etc) as to not scratch or make dings anywhere. Kind, courtous, communicative at every stage prior to and during the move. Pricing is exptremely fair and reasonable. When I moved into my new apartment, they even hooked up the washer and dryer for me, realized I didn't have the correct hookups and quietly sent one of their workers out to grab the correct hook-up, so it wouldn't be something I needed to stress on my own later on. I recommended this company to my mom, who ended up hiring them to move her out of a three-story old victorian she lived in for over 40 years, an emotional move that was already challenging for her. Her experience: Required a lot more planning and a ton of flexibility. She had a horrendous experience with the SELLING experience of her home. Good Guy Movers was the ONLY part of the experience she was at ease about. She told me on multiple occasions it was stress-free. The movers were flexible and understanding when her timeline changed a couple times. Her belongings and furniture was moving quite a distance and they carefully mapped out best routes to get it to where it needed to be. Again, excellent, clear communication. She felt like a family member being taken exceptional care of during the entire process. She was grateful beyond words, as were the rest of my family members, knowing how stressed she was about the process of moving out of her cherished home after so many years.
I worked with GoodGuy movers through U-BOX and they do an outstanding job. They were communicative, respectful and went above and beyond - they even noticed an error in my U-BOX order and saved me hundreds of dollars on my move!! They did a great job and their team is awesome. I cannot recommend them enough if you are in or around the Greater Boston Area.
Joey and Alex from Good Guy Movers were true professionals. They communicated often and well, arrived on time, and were careful of both my possessions and my home. They went out of their way to make sure my possessions were well protected in the UBoxes I rented. I would hire this company again, and I recommend them to anyone looking for movers in the Worcester MA or Boston MA areas.
We had a great experience with Good Guy Movers. Joey, the owner, was incredibly responsive and easy to get in touch with both before and after the move. Even weeks later when I misplaced some important documentation, he sent it over right away. On moving day, Joey and Alex arrived on time and got straight to work. They made moving a full 2-bed apartment through a tight second-floor stairwell look easy—especially when Joey worked his Tetris magic and fit everything into the 15ft Uhaul, although some small things at the end did get crammed in. Alex also gave us some great tips for protecting furniture and wood finishes, which we’ll definitely be using for future moves. We had requested 3 people for the move but only 2 came; however, the two had a great system going and finished the move within 2 hours. Highly recommend this team for anyone looking for a smooth, efficient, and professional moving experience!
