The team at Bay Country Painters recently completed a pretty big project at our home. They showed up on time every morning, communicated project timelines, and were very professional. We are thrilled with how everything turned out!
Bay Country Painters did a phenomenal job!Everybody working for them is first class. I had an exterior paint job done on a 32 year old house with cedar siding. During the job being done, I had a few questions about what was going on. My father always said, "Don't judge any work until it is finished." He was right. Jose and the crew took care of every item I had on my list without me having to say a word. They cleaned up every day and let me know if they were scheduled to come out the next day. I would highly recommend Bay Country Painters. If I could give them more than5 stars I would.
I am thrilled with Bay Country Painters! I found them in the Best Picks Reports guide and called them and another company to compare prices. When I called, I got their voice mail with the usual "If you know your party's extension"... Well, I didn't know who to speak to until I heard Mike McGurk's name. I figured I couldn't go wrong with the owner and I was right. Mike went above and beyond to win my trust and business. When I was shocked by the cost, he gave me a discount that I qualified for, but didn't know about. Throughout the process, we have been in constant contact. I felt truly special! While it may have taken a bit to get on the schedule, Gary McGurk gave me a phone call and said "I have some good news and more good news." The following week, Jose and crew were here and got down to business every day at 7am. Great group of the most pleasant and professional guys I've ever met. These guys and this company have my utmost respect and admiration. My kitchen cabinets look better than when I first moved in!
Overall the interior painting was good quality and the wall prep work was great quality, but my experience was only 4 stars due to the lack of cleanup and lack of communication for scheduling. The painters were personable and professional. However, they left paint and drywall "mud" drips on the sink faucet and backsplash. There are black stains on the parking pad timbers from them dumping something out of their truck. They left footprints right through my raised garden bed and on top of flowers. They didn't clean up their dust inside upon completion, andpaint "overspray" was left on various items. There ended up being some extra work which I was glad to pay for, but they never confirmed the T&M hours utilized and I waited over a month to see what the extra damage would be. I didn't realize these things until they were gone because I assumed they'd clean up before leaving.Additionally, it took forever to get me on the schedule, which appeared to be because they just don't schedule far enough out. I only knew when my whole house would get painted about a week in advance and even then I had to call management to confirm.Overall it was poor communication leading up to the work starting.Overall the quality delivered is about what I'd expect for the price, but they have some areas for improvement to be a true 5 star service and I only went with them because I expected 5 star service. But someone could have just had a bad day, so I'd still recommend them.
I made the terrible mistake of allowing a friend to paint because he pleaded with me that he was desperate for money for his family. Our home was in shambles after 2 days of painting and getting paint everywhere but where is was to go, on the walls. My friend no-showed and left us in a big mess, claiming he hurt his back. I reached out to Bay Country Painters and was told by the scheduler they were 2 weeks out for indoor painting. About an hour later Gary called me and said he heard my story and would be sending out two of his lead painters to cleanup the mess and paint my bedroom and bathroom. I'm sharing my story because they did a fabulous job, and really bailed us out. The Walls needed to be resanded and paint drips' everywhere.I was thrilled with the work they did, not only professionals, but courteous in everyway. Bay Country Painters, were shone like a beacon when I was left high and dry. I highly recommend them! Thank you for a wonderful experience all the way around.
