Here’s a polished review you can post or share:?Steve Holloway Painting did an amazing job on our project. From start to finish, the team was professional, respectful, and very attentive to all of our wishes. They took the time to listen carefully to what we wanted and made sure every detail was addressed.Mike Romero did a great job with the work itself — everything came out clean and high quality. I especially appreciated the level of attention and care that Keven Acres provided while going over the scope of the project with us. He made sure we felt comfortable with every decision and truly understood our vision before getting started.Overall, the experience was smooth, professional, and the results exceeded our expectations. I would absolutely recommend Steve Holloway Painting to anyone looking for reliable and detail-oriented painters.
What can I say that hundreds of others haven't already said. WOW! Steve and his team go above and beyond. We had a VERY custom job and situation completing the DV Learning Center makeover at 208 Oak Street. Steve was at the helm and saw the project all the way through. Drive by for yourself and see what quality looks like. Thanks Guys!
Our garage floor was in terrible shape. Years of scaling and flaking had left it unsightly, and the continued decay was honestly weighing on our spirits. From getting the estimate to having the new floor completed, the entire process took just two weeks.Sandra was wonderful to work with. She assessed the situation and assured us that the floor was a good candidate for their Penntek epoxy floor sealant. The job itself took two days from start to finish. They first sanded and resurfaced the floor, then applied a moisture barrier, then laid down this beautiful epoxy flooring that filled in the pockmarks and divots, bringing so much vibrancy to an otherwise dingy old garage. Now we are excited and inspired to continue updating our home.I truly feel a weight has been lifted off our shoulders. We love the new floor, and I can rest easy knowing its life will be much longer now thanks to Steve Holloway and his team’s excellent work. Thanks, guys!
I thought Holloway was a 5 star company. Apparently not. I met with Sandra to look at color samples. Even though Holloway is priced a lot higher than 2 other companies in town, I went with Holloway because I thought they were a 5 star company. Since I live in a complex, Sandra notated it for the installers so they would be aware of it and have an idea of where they would need to park their trailer. When the installers showed up, Mario wanted to park his truck and trailer in front of my garage. I told him you can temporarily park there to off load but then you would need to move it as you can't block other residents garages. I told him you can park by the dumpsters or on the street. He started mouthing off under his breath at the situation. Very unprofessional. It wasn't ideal but I was giving him options. My garage was totally clear except for 1 tall cabinet. The installers brought it inside my home and weren't paying attention to what they were doing. Upon standing the cabinet up they damaged my wall. After the garage floor dried I noticed that they scraped and damaged my drywall in a few spots with their machine. Common sense to me would be to put up like blue painters tape or something to help protect the drywall from getting damaged. I called Marissa in the office and set up a time of 10am the next day for them to come back and fix all the damage they caused and move the cabinet back into the garage. Mario called me before 7am to say he was on his way. I told him it was supposed to be at 10am. Then I asked him if he was going to fix all the damage that he caused. He said no, he was just going to move the cabinet back. So I called the office and spoke to Chris Holloway. I told him what happened so he and his painter arrived later that morning. After Chris left, the painter started fixing the damage. Then I noticed that the installers went beyond my garage and damaged the concrete. Common sense would be to put something down so you don't damage the concrete beyond the garage. The painter sent photos to Elias and to Chris. He said Elias would call me the next day. I called Marissa almost a week later and told her Elias never called me back like I was promised. She said she would have Elias call me back within 24 hours. Once again I never got a phone call back. So almost 2 weeks after I was initially promised a phone call back from Elias, I call Marissa again. Elias just happened to be in the office so she passed the phone to him. Elias response was he was just too busy to call me. I find that extremely hard to believe that he didn't have 2 minutes to spare throughout the past couple weeks. I told him then why didn't you communicate with Chris to have him call me. His response was Chris is also busy. I'm assuming Chris is salaried and not an hourly employee as he is probably also a part owner in the company. I know Chris would have found the 2 minutes to call a customer back. The garage floor does look good but this whole ordeal was unacceptable. For how the garage floor looks I would give them 5 stars. For communication and good customer service I would give them 1 star.
