STAHLSCHMIDT PAINTING & RESTORATION LLC

We are extremely pleased that we chose Stahlschmidt Painting to restore the exterior of our house. From preparation work, to painting, to clean-up, they were meticulous. The crew worked quietly and steadily each day. They were friendly and helpful.and they finished the job ahead of schedule. Our exterior which had been in need of serious TLC for some time now looks well-cared for. Thank you, Hans, Chris, Brian and Nicholas!

We had an extremely good experience with Hans Stahlschmidt's company. Hans himself was key in helping us reach decisions re type of paint and colors. The two guys who did the work (actually, Mexican brothers) were also excellent: always punctual, they also had opinions about the paints, and always kept the place clean. We would certainly hire them again.

Hans Stahlschmidt's crew recently painted the entire exterior and much of the interior of our house, as they also have done in the past. Their work is excellent and of the highest quality in every respect, and we recommend them most highly. Wendell Goddard

I've known Hans Stahlschmidt Painting and Restoration for 30 years and can speak to the quality and professionalism of his crews. Thirty years ago he was the only contractor I could find who knew about lead-safe work practices for our daughter's day care center and our home. Then I discovered he had a good sense of color combinations and liked his suggestions. His crews do careful and quality work and many have worked for him for years. Hans clearly cares about his customers satisfaction and the welfare and safety of his employees. He is the rare small contractor who provides health coverage for his employees. I highly recommend hiring Hans and his crews for your projects!

Having engaged Stahlschmidt Painting & Restoration several times over a period of 16 years, we wholeheartedly recommend this company. If you like attention to detail, this is your contractor. The staff are professional, and have many years of experience, and are meticulous about clean-up. Hans Stahlschmidt is also a talented color consultant. They did exterior painting of our house in Kensington, then various interior jobs over the years, including kitchen cupboards and trim for a traditional 1946 house. More recently, they remediated some of the mistakes made by the painting subcontractor for a major addition/renovation.
