DO NOT USE. Paint is peeling and on my 7th call regarding warranty claim and turns out I’m just getting filtered out through a call center. Can’t call Nick direct because it seems his phone is disconnected now.

1st crew sent out would call in with bad excuses regularly for the first week and into the second. That crew was taken off and brought on when I finally called and explained my concerns.

2nd crew moved faster but it was not a professional job.
I have a siding that is no longer manufactured, but several bottom pieces needed replacing. I was told during the quoting phase that fixing/replacing was in the price. Apparently after they started, PaintEZ at that point decided or realized they could not get that board and had to come up with a large bottom trim solution all around the house to make it look good. This ended up being a nice look but cost of material was added to my previously agreed upon price.

Several vertical corner boards were rotting on the bottom and needed replaced. Random lengths of board were cut off and the seams of the new board to the old board are all very visible at every corner of the house. This is after they made another trip out to fix at my first request.

There were several other smaller things that added up to not a very good overall experience from the beginning and a non-professional quality job for what I believe was a professional quality price.

Now it's about 4-5 months later and big pieces of paint are peeling off of my trim. I've called Paint EZ main line 4 times now and have heard nothing back. I see lots of other good reviews on here, maybe I'm just unlucky customer, but take into consideration.

After four estimates for exterior painting, Nick was the most precise and a bit less. He provided references which I checked out and everyone was very positive about both Nick and the work done by his team.

We did a walk around inspection where problems were pointed out with the associated cost. A week before the scheduled job, Nick called to see if we had any changes in paint colors and we verified the job begin time.

The job itself was professional and I noticed no trash or job residue left behind. Nick came by and did another walk around inspection and one small caulking spot was noticed. He handled it right away.

I have waited a few weeks to see how the paint held up in the heavy rains and now I can report this may have been the best exterior paint job I have had on this home.

He has set a high bar for painting companies and I would use him again in an instant. In fact, I have already recommended him to others.

Nick and his crew did a fantastic job and was completed in the time line originally contracted for. They took care in making sure the area where they were going to be working was properly covered before starter their work. They removed the popcorn ceilings on day one and prepared the walls and ceiling in our 3 bedrooms and closet for painting. I’d recommend Nick and Paint EZ of B’HAM for any painting projects you need completed.
