We had our 90's oak cabinets renewed with perfect wood grain fill and top coat. The WVP crew was very attentive to our project, their craftsmanship and respect for our home. Couldn't ask for a better job!

I had Caleb and his crew repaint some cabinets and interior doors in my house. They were very professional and delivered On time and with high-quality. The bid that Caleb gave me was spot on.They were very easy to work with especially during the daytime when they were working in the house. Very polite crew I would recommend them for exterior or interior painting work.

Horrible contractor. He backed out of a signed contract over a minor drywall crack and then attempted to double the agreed-upon price. Despite having a signed contract, he refused to honor it or stand by his word.

The two laborers showed up wearing sweatpants and pajamas, and on their first day they spent only two hours on site during what should have been an eight-hour workday. Completely unprofessional from the start.

They claimed our paint had “frozen” in 50-degree weather, which makes no sense, and instructed us to buy new paint. I purchased new paint the same day at their request. By the end of that day, the contractor backed out of the job entirely and never reimbursed us for the paint he told us to buy.

To make matters worse, he said he couldn’t even get a stir stick through the supposedly frozen paint. When I got home, I stirred the paint with no issues at all. Apparently this “certified contractor” believes paint freezes at 50 degrees.
Unreliable, unprofessional, and not trustworthy. Will walk away from signed contracts and take no responsibility for their actions. This is exactly what’s wrong with contractors in this area. Buyer beware.

Response to your reply:

It was approximately 50 (see photo)degrees IN THE GARAGE, and it was clearly agreed that you would provide heaters. I even asked if you wanted us to supply heaters, and you said no because you “had them.” You did not, and that failure is on you.

I have security cameras at my home. When your crew arrived, they did not begin working right away. They stood around for nearly an hour, were on site for about 40 minutes, then left for roughly two hours. When they returned, they did not resume work and left again about 30 minutes later. I called your foreman to ask why the crew kept leaving and was not working.

You chose to start this job in early December, not us. Your poor planning created the conditions you had already agreed to work in. If you did not have the proper equipment, including heaters, you should not have agreed to a December start date.

Your foreman then claimed the paint was frozen and instructed us to buy new paint, which we did the same day at your request, spending $550. You later backed out of painting three walls and a partial ceiling of a three-car garage and falsely blamed frozen paint. The paint was not frozen. I personally stirred it without issue, and the stir stick your crew claimed could not penetrate the paint was found smoothly coated in it.

You never took ownership of your poor planning or unprepared crew. You falsely claimed no money had been exchanged, despite instructing us to purchase paint. You then said you would only complete the job if we agreed to double the original contract price, which is unacceptable and unprofessional.

You did not visit the site on the day of the job, nor did your foreman, and instead relied on an unprepared crew. You showed no concern for backing out of a signed contract with a veteran and their family, nor did you offer to reimburse us for the paint you required us to purchase.

All we asked was that you honor your word and the signed contract. Your only response was to attempt to double the price.

The crew at Walker V Painting is top notch and we are thrilled with their work! From their initial bid to finishing the job, Caleb (owner) was so helpful and communicative about each step of the process. His team, Jason, David and Joshua, were awesome and had such an incredible attention to detail with their work, clean-up, and communication. We are so happy to have found them and have already scheduled them for additional work.

Caleb and his team painted our entire new construction home. They did an amazing job! They always showed up when scheduled - even sending texts to let me know they were on their way. Caleb was so easy to work with and listened to what I wanted and made it happen. I had a few shiplap walls and an accent wall that they did on top of all walls, doors, tons of shelving, etc. All turned out beautiful!! My father-in-law built multi-million dollar homes for 30+ years back in TX. He was our GC and was very impressed with their process and final product. I also found out that Caleb had some issues with some of his team members but he personally took the time to come out and make sure all the work was done to his standards. Walker V was one of the only contractors that didn’t put us behind schedule. Definitely appreciate their time and effort to make things happen and do the job right! I am so happy with the final product and HIGHLY recommend Walker V painting!
