Five Star Painting did an excellent job with the interior painting of my new construction home. They were efficient but careful and did a wonderful job cleaning up after themselves. Very responsive from beginning to end. I wouldn’t hesitate recommending them to anyone.
I’ll be candid, I had other quotes and thankfully chose Five Star Painting. They were outstanding! They listened to my requests and covered every detail, they showed up on time, they worked efficiently and they cleaned up all materials in addition to moving my furniture back into place. I had them paint both interior and exterior including my lanai flooring. My home looks spectacular! Best of all they were all so friendly and professional, they even gave my dog special attention??. They are a rare find these days, I highly recommend Charlie and Five Star Painting!
Since the owner deleted my first review I thought I would redo with added photos of his so called professional paint job. These pictures were taken today. 3/7/25 to be clear owner was at house on day of the men painting and the day they were to fix whatever was wrong. The baseboards were not to be painted but this professional group did not tape it to avoid painting the white boards. They did not and I now know do not remove the railing to do a proper paint job. All baseboards around room now need to be repainted, ( not by 5 star because this was not on original job agreement)they didn’t tape or remove curtain holders.When the men showed up and were shown what needed to be painted they said “this is not a one day job it’s going to take two days” boss called and the. Owner shows up and tells them to get it done. This was early afternoon he stood and watched them until he needed to leave to see a new potential client. When we went with the painters to look at the jobs done we told them there was no way this was acceptable. Spoke with owner who said he would make it look better. The come second day owner and painter. I spoke with owner and told him this was the worst most unprofessional paint job it looked like a 10 year old did it . He responded that he doesn’t take down railings ( then he should have not painted it ) he told me I was welcome to take it down for him to do a better job. I didn’t as I am physically unable and spouse was out of town. Had they asked me to remove it so it could be done properly I would have had it done. The hope they agreed to fill well you can see for yourself how well that went.I paid him told him this was going to need to be redone and that I was not satisfied but with his rude attitude and his dismissive attitude toward me I just wanted him out before he screws anything else up.So learn from me make sure what he will do and what he won’t do and make sure the men tape widows and baseboards. They do put plastic down as a drop cloth but then walk through paint that was also left on wood floor that I cleaned up before it set in.This place would have a 0 starTo double make sure that of owner removes my review I will be posting on other sites for those to see. To be clear when owner was handed check I told him I was not satisfied but wanted him out of my house.
We reached out to Charlie at Five Star Painting when our refurbish project of this house started with the new roof being installed. We decided to update all around the house with painting the lanai, the house and all the windows and doors. We matched the colours perfectly with the new bronze roof. The metal and vinyl was all painted with SW Urbane Bronze and the house stucco colour was SW Whirlwind. It was a lot of prep work to get this house and lanai painted and Charlie and his guys did an amazing job. They worked to schedule and cleaned up the property after. They exceeded our expectations. We now have the best looking house on the street!
