Hiring Rainbow Painting Pro was the best decision I could have made for my deck - they completely revitalized a huge part of my home that I thought was beyond saving! Beyond just performing excellent work, they did so at a price that I was able to afford. Rainbow stayed true to their quote and timeframe, and didn’t ask for an extra cent when the deck threw a few curveballs their way. The owner, Danny, was so great to deal with throughout the project and was personally really helpful to me as a new, first-time homeowner, explaining the entire project and giving me tips on other projects I’m trying to accomplish myself - I’d hire Danny and his crew again in a heartbeat!For a better idea of just how bad this deck was - and how good Rainbow Painting Pro is - I’ve included the details of the job and some pictures of before and after:We were almost 100% resigned to the fact that we’d need to replace all of the boards and likely the railings too, but figured we’d give refinishing it one more shot with a professional. Danny and his crew power-washed the deck, stripped and sanded down the out the old brown paint, (as well as the red/brown stain I’d attempted to layer over it, making it worse), and removed the old incorrectly applied waterproofing sealant. They applied wood-filler to the boards with major gouges and scratches, then painted multiple coats of Benjamin Moore solid-stain on the boards, railings, frame. They even painted the chipped-away door molding for me and didn’t ask for an extra cent. Once everything was dry, they came back and layered waterproofing sealant over the entire deck. All of this work was done in time for us to enjoy the deck for our first Memorial Day in our new home!I can’t say enough good things about Rainbow Paint Pro. Thanks again to Danny and his crew for helping us out with this project!
One star because the painting was completed in 4 days, but every day I came home to dirty floors, trash, and pee on my toilet seat.The end job was sub par. Paint splattered on my floors that I cant get off. The trims were also skipped over, even though they were included in my initial contract. I asked the point of contact person to have someone come back and clean and he became uncomfortably combative and threatened to post photos of my home online without my permission.I’m sure if the quality were there, this would have been a smooth transaction.UPDATE: point of contact person continues to harass me after I wrote my honest reviewUPDATE: one month after painting, the paint is starting to peel off (see photos). I’m very disappointed.
