Bathroom remodel. Don did a great job. Hit the time frame as needed. Very communicative, friendly, professional and honest.

We had a 1.5 bath with a floor issue. Don converted it to a 2 bathroom. Workmanship is awesome and beautiful. He split one bathroom, replaced tub with walk in shower; took space into 1/2 bay and put in a tub.

I had people say that what he did couldn’t be done.

I have been looking for a painting contractor who would also be able to do some minor siding repair before painting. I found Preferred Home Improvements, LLC, by noticing consistent high marks of satisfaction by previous customers. It says a lot about a company who doesn't require any deposit or down payment until the job is done and the customer is completely satisfied. The owner communicated constantly during my home painting project to make sure things were going well and to see if I had any questions or concerns. He has a great painting crew; they do careful work. The siding repair looks perfect. I will be using them again when it comes time to interior painting. Highly recommend.

We recently hired Don and Preferred Home Improvements to repaint several areas of our home and power wash and stain our deck before getting it ready to sell. He came highly recommended from our contact at the local Sherwin Williams paint store. Don was professional, provided a quote that we thought was fair and reasonable for a lot of work, and his crew did an outstanding job very efficiently. I appreciated the quality of the painting and staining, attention to detail with crisp transition lines at the trim and ceiling and the care with taping and protecting our trim and carpet. We prefer to hire locally owned businesses for home services and we have found a great one.

We recently had Don Johnson's crew paint our kitchen and laundry room cabinets
It was a three day process, taping, sanding, priming, and, painting. At the end of each day the crew cleaned up and removed plastic covering so we could use our appliances. The crew was very respectful of our home giving us as much privacy as they could while working in the kitchen and laundry. We are very happy with the cost and the finished product.

Don has an amazing, hard working crew. I can’t stress enough how important it is to have people you can trust to help out. When Don first came out to bid for the job, I could tell he’s done this for a while. He is very knowledgeable and thorough. We walked through every room, made sure it was the colors that we wanted. Don answered all my questions and was very professional, patient, and courteous. When the job was done, he did a follow up to make sure we were satisfied with the work. Don will communicate with you both via text or by a phone call. He is easy to get a hold of should you have any questions or concerns.
