We chose CertaPro Charleston expecting a premium, professional experience for a job that cost over $10,000. We were promised a one-week timeline from start to finish. Instead, the project dragged on for an entire month, requiring multiple return trips to finally get the job completed. While the contracted spaces were ultimately painted, the path to get there was stressful, disorganized, and fell incredibly short of professional standards. They even painted an entire room the wrong color and forgot to paint a closet. The initial work showed a severe lack of attention to detail and cut corners throughout the house. I have attached photos documenting the craftsmanship we experienced, which included: Incomplete Painting: Entire areas were left unpainted or only partially covered, including crevices between doors and walls, behind electrical outlets/switch plates, and an entirely forgotten closet. Messy Execution & Over-spray: We found prominent paint drips dried onto the staircase trim, white paint splattered onto our kitchen backsplash tile, and areas where paint tracked onto hardwood flooring. Streaky, Uneven Coverage: Multiple doors and walls were left with flashing and patchy coverage, showing exactly where a brush or roller failed to apply a consistent second coat. Massive Oversight: One entire room was initially painted the wrong color, and the team completely forgot to paint the banisters. When the owner came out to inspect the home, he actually pointed out several paint runoffs and errors to me, assuming they were pre-existing defects in my house. I had to correct him and point out that the sloppy paint was the exact new color his team had just applied. To his credit, they did eventually fix the mistakes—but only after multiple disruptive trips back to our home over the course of a month, much longer than the week it was promised in. When you spend over $10,000 on a professional painting service, you expect a high-end, seamless result, not a month-long ordeal of micromanaging basic quality control. Based on the lack of supervision, missed deadlines, and poor initial execution, I cannot recommend this company. There are far better options in Charleston if you want the job done right the first time.

The crew at CertaPro did a fantastic job. Finished ahead of schedule. Everyone from Justin to Kristen were very helpful. Alex was the on-site supervisor and organized everything well and friendly! I would recommend CertaPro without hesitation.

The staff is what makes a good business a great business. We have used this franchise of CertaPro several times. Interior offices, Exterior building change colors, painted brick and a 33,000 square foot plaza is a short list of the number of contracts that we have exercised with CertaPro. Feather, the office manager, schedules all work and it is consistently on time and only weather can change the timeliness of a completed job. Their prices cannot be beat in the Mt Pleasant area. Very reasonable for the outstanding work. Our property management firm has used this company solely since 2016. You will not be disappointed.
