American Family Painters

I hired American Family Painters based on reviews and Frank reaching out to me on the Nextdoor app. Frank painted our hallway, stairway and exterior for a very reasonable price. He was extremely helpful in terms of the type of paint each job warranted. I appreciated his willingness to give his input in terms of the colors I chose. His attention to detail is impeccable. Frank and his team are focused and went above and beyond to make my house look like the gem of the neighborhood. His prices are very fair. Another company quoted me $5000 more than what Frank charged for the work. I highly recommend American Family Painters. I have some other projects that I plan to have Frank and his team complete in the future. Great locally owned company.

Frank was very professional and knowledgeable. His price was fair. He worked with our schedules. He is very thorough. He brought our front wooden door "back to life." He made our house a showplace to be proud of. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

American Family Painters is a family-owned business that truly stands out for its professionalism, attention to detail, and passion for quality work. From the first phone call for an estimate to the final brushstroke, their team ensures a seamless and pleasant experience. We initially hired American Family Painters to paint the exterior of our home. They arrived on time, listened carefully to our ideas and budget, and provided a highly informative discussion about our options, price points, and even a subtle color adjustment—one we ultimately went with and absolutely loved. Their punctuality and meticulous attention to detail were evident throughout the project, and they even finished ahead of schedule. Their enthusiasm for the final result matched ours, which was a refreshing experience. A few months later, we decided to refresh our kitchen but couldn’t justify the cost of brand-new cabinets. Once again, we turned to American Family Painters, and scheduling an estimate was quick and easy. Their expertise was immediately apparent as they walked us through the best paint choices, explaining the benefits in detail. The results speak for themselves—our white cabinets still look flawless, even with two dogs and a teenager putting them to the test daily. Choosing American Family Painters was an easy decision, and we couldn’t be happier. If you’re looking to support a small business that delivers exceptional craftsmanship and customer service, give them a call. You won’t be disappointed!

I didn’t have a great experience with American Family Painters. The owner promised to come back to complete touch ups to my cabinets, but after 6 months of emails/calls and him no-showing, I have given up and am just going to hire another company to fix his mistakes. He missed the area between my oven and microwave, left paint on my wood floor and baseboards in the next room, and left drips/brushstrokes all over my cabinets. I would not recommend this company if you want clean work and reliable communication.
