I would like to share my experience with American Shades, LLC, this past week. Shawn, who is the CEO/owner of the company, was incredibly easy to work with. His professionalism and integrity were always displayed. His company and team over-delivered on my expectation which was a unique project of painting my kitchen cupboards with an antique look. He asked questions of me and was incredibly helpful in answering my questions so there was never a feeling he didn't understand my vision. His team was skilled, friendly and sought to keep the work area in my home clean. I was amazed at how well they sealed off the work area to protect other areas of my home from dust, etc. When the project was complete, their clean up again over-delivered on my expectations. With that said, I would HIGHLY recommend this company to anyone seeking a painting contractor for jobs big and small. I have already scheduled them for another painting project in my home next month.
We had Shawn and his crew paint our 35 yr old oak cabinets. Shawn and his crew was a delight to work with. Very respectful and always on time. Shawn was excellent at communicating always responding quickly.We are extremely happy with the job Shawn and his crew did on our cabinets. Shawn and his team did FANTASTIC work with the recent interior painting of our house. They were professional, personable and prepped the interior of our house like machines!! Shawn also had a suggestion for our dining room my husband and I didn’t even have on the radar. There was ZERO pressure to go in his direction, however, he let us know there was something we can do to really pop the room and they had done it before and he walked us through his suggestion so we understood this other option. The outcome for the entire paint job was more than we could have originally envisioned. Of course after working with Shawn/American Shades last summer for the exterior of our house, we knew we were in good hands with this year’s paint project.
We called American Shades based on a recommendation from a neighbor whose family member was very pleased with their work. Shawn came out to see our house and we could instantly tell he was the one we wanted to work with, so we didn’t even get any other bids. His bid for painting the exterior seemed reasonable and he was clearly very knowledgeable and personable, so we hired him. He and his crew got our house painted in just over 1 work day. They all went above and beyond to make this the best experience we had ever had with a contractor. We are so pleased with the fresh new look a great paint job has given our home. Shawn and his team painted the exterior of our home this past summer of 2024. They did such a great job we asked him for a bid to paint our home’s interior including kitchen cabinets. For three weeks in November 2024 Shawn and his team got to work and did yet another great job of painting our interior walls and cabinets. Their attention to detail and unbelievable prep work made the finished product sparkle. We’ve tried our hand at interior painting in years past but the skill America Shades brings to the table is next level. Please see attached pictures.
