Reviewers often mention fast responses, frequent communication, and projects finished sooner than expected. Several notes highlight fair or affordable proposals and willingness to correct miscommunications. A minority of feedback mentions delays and follow-through concerns on some non-painting work. Overall sentiment trends positive, with customers saying they would hire the company again for painting and related tasks.
Dan responded quickly, communicated often, and was professional. Him and his team did an amazing job on our roof and completed it in record time. I would definitely use him again. Thanks for a great experience.
Dan was quick to respond when I had a last minute painting project. He offered an affordable proposal and finished the job in a fraction of the time of other companies. When some miscommunication occurred, Dan was quick to make it right and followed up the next day to update the project. He did a great job painting our condo; we would hire him again.
When it comes to the money we spend on contractor services in the interior, it's hard to expect anything less than perfect (at least for me), but this 5-Star reviews is about communication, flexibility, and willingness to teach while providing services. First, Dan was the only person/business to respond to my need to remove popcorn ceiling throughout my house (no fun!). He was 1) Great to work with in finding a meeting time (and many other times to get together), 2) Great at explaining the job, and 3) was very willing to address issues upon finishing and explain what the next steps were in continuing to improve my home. Thank you Dan for being so honest and having excellent communication.
Unfortunately our experience with Great Pacific Contractors is mixed. It is hard for me to post this as Dan is very personable and kind. He has come by in the winter to check how the roof was doing. We have talked many times and each time he has said he would be by to finish the job but unfortunately has not followed through. He and his crew replaced our roof and built eves. Dan said if I picked up the eve material he would have it installed. Most of the job has been finished. However after a year it is still sitting incomplete. The back of the house has about a 10 foot section of unfinished eves. Also, within the year two areas of eve material has fallen loose from the edge. And during the recent wind storm we had one shingle fall off and noticed some others came loose. The calling and txting by myself and my husband to get the job done is daunting and disappointing. In hindsight, we would have gone with another contractor and not paid the second half of the payment until the job was completely finished.Editing review…. Our eve vinyl is continuing to fall from the roof.
We hired Dan to replace our 20 year old roof. Our roof has many weird angles, and it covers 3700 square feet, including our 3 car garage. Dan came in on one of the lower bids (but not the lowest) but we hired him anyway because he's just a super nice guy! Strong work ethic, takes pride in his work, and wants you to be happy with the end product. Roof was great but still had a small, lingering leak that he tackled at least 4-5 times to fix (in a seam where two different level roofs meet at a strange angle). Dry, dry, dry. He did a nice job! Never avoided our calls, returned right away with conviction that he was going to resolve this problem, and he did. Thanks Dan! We appreciated you! Strongly recommend!
