On November 19 2021, showcase Restoration was hired to come out to my house to repair damages that were done to my master bathroom and living room ceiling due to a water leak in my master bathroom. Mitigation went by extremely quickly and that was handled over a two day period. Once my project manager was assigned I contacted him right away and was told that a company called LACS would be contracted to start the restoration work and also complete the additional work that I was paying for. The additional work included redoing the floors in my laundry room and extra upstairs bathroom. Since day one I have had issues with this contractor. The very first night I came home I knew I would not like any of the work that would be completed due to the fact that there was gaps in the flooring, all of the quarter round that they put back on was broken into small pieces and they try to glue it back together, you can see that the flooring was cut too short, they never caulked the toilets when they put them back on, they also cut my door casing to high and tried to fill in the gap with caulk. While working on my house, LACS also did not complete most of what was listed on the sheet that was approved and paid out by my insurance company. I’m also attaching pictures of everything that has happened over the past 5 weeks. My carpets have been stained, LACS did not lay coverings down on my carpet when they painted the ceiling, there are paint drops on my carpet, they did not tape off my light fixtures and now there is paint on almost all of my light fixtures in my living room, kitchen, and dining room.
