I recently moved and needed my whole new place painted. I got a few estimates and had a few people come out, but nothing compared to the way Martha conducted herself, starting from the very beginning with the way she looked around my home with concern about getting the job done right and attending to detail. She is a genuine and good person, compassionate and ethical, and she made the whole experience enjoyable. It was a pleasure to have her in my home, and it gave me peace of mind knowing she was in charge. She is really an advocate for her customers, and a very special woman and leader. She strived to be fair and save me money. She was super flexible with the timing of things and patient as I added things on, including having 2 old bathroom vanities removed, and having 2 new ones installed, and having several closets ripped out. All the work was done very well. The painting was fantastic, and the drywall work and the bathroom vanity installations were great. Martha's employees worked extremely hard and fast and were knowledgeable. I really appreciate Martha for helping make my place more of a home and helping so many people have good experiences with upgrading the places they live. You can trust Martha with your home for sure.
SO IN LOVE WITH OUR WALLS!! Xenak Painting did such a BEAUTIFUL job and made our old home look like new! Martha is my FAVORITE person as she is the sweetest, is so motherly, yet knows how to command a room and take charge for us to get the best job done flawlessly!!We went through a week of meet and greet/walkthroughs with painting companies to get quotes. I didn't want to make any hasty decisions since we are the ones that will be living with our surroundings day-to-day. I probably had about 20 swatches in every room of the house trying to pick out the perfect shade of white.We had such a range of people from super cheap and shady trying to get me to switch my paint color so we could use a paint color he already had? One guy come in no niceties looked at the walls of swatches and told me to just pick one that they were all about the same anyway. Then we had MARTHA! Martha came in and even though she was quick and efficient in her walk through, took the time to connect with me and really take in the interior of our home. She complimented us on what a beautiful home we already had, even took the time to see our backyard and appreciate our tree, which were all the elements I fell in love with when we bought the house as well. When she saw all of my swatches and heard my explanation of how much this was a big decision for me, she just nodded and said "Good, this is *your* home, you must love the color." That was the moment I knew MARTHA WAS THE ONE!Through the entire process, Martha was incredibly responsive, timely, and kind. She even took the time to educate us on the different paint finishes, which I'm so glad she did since I was going to go with Eggshell initially, but Velvet was her recommendation and it was perfect for all the main interior walls as it wasn't too shiny. Even with us ending up with a custom paint color (50% Swiss Coffee) Martha was never phased. We kept her up to date on our other renovations happening for her team to come in at the right time. We had plumbing done the week before and they cut so many holes to redo piping I was worried we would end up with patchy walls. When Martha's team was done with drywall and paint, everything looked like new and I wouldn't be able to guess we ever had holes there before! Her team truly exceeded our already high expectations and did a beautiful, clean job and we could not be happier.We will definitely be using Xenak Painting again for all our painting and drywall needs in the future!
I am happy to write a glowing review of Xenak, and Martha the king pin of the operation. We had a 5 figure (large) job- almost the entire interior of a large house. Martha was 1) responsive, getting things done fast, 2) careful with our money, saving where she could but spending on important materials that would make a big difference, 3) head of paint crews that were careful, clean, polite and on-time, 4) responsible- from our security cameras we could see her there before dawn often with a clipboard. Not a flaw would get by her. And finally, we got 3 bids for this large job. Martha was *low* bid -extremely price competitive. If painters had numbers, like baseball players, we'd retire Martha's.
