Hired CertaPro to paint areas of my house before we sold it. The whole process was super simple, met with the estimator at the house for a quick walkthrough and measurements, sent some emails to confirm details and had the date locked down with 48 hours. Quick and easy, hardest part was finding the colors.The painters were great! They patched holes in the wall that came from screws and nail, and did some minor aesthetics work before painting. It’s sounds dumb to say it looks like professionals did it, but it’s a noticeable upgrade from the walls we painted.Highly recommend these guys! 10/10!
CertaPro Painters completed an exterior paint job for us. The paint job was fantastic, easy to schedule, and done in a timely fashion. Unfortunately, the payment process did not go as well. We received a final invoice receipt that our bill was paid in full. To our surprise, TWO months later we received another invoice. Apparently they mistakingly charged us the wrong amount initially. They are expecting us to pay a considerable amount more due to a mistake on their end. Not a very happy customer!
Troy Hacker, owner of CertaPro, and Meagan Miller, Residential Sales Associate, came to our home to consult on our project. They said all the right words. They were pleasant, however, I think there is a disconnect between the sale of a project, the project being explained to both the customer and the manager, and to the painters themselves. We went with CertaPro because they had painters available immediately to complete the job, and that was a pleasant surprise.We had a full bath and a powder room painted. The painters came, began the project at 9:00AM and were done by 2:00PM. They cleaned up and then asked me to walk through the project with them. No supervisor inspected the work. I found this odd and disconcerting. As we casually walked through the project it looked nice. It was only with closer inspection, after the painters left, were imperfections spotted. Here’s another disconnect. A supervisor should come in - BEFORE EVERYTHING IS CLEANED UP - and inspect the work. They are the professionals; they know what they’re looking for. When I let it be known I was disappointed, a supervisor came the next day and fixed everything I saw that needed attention. That’s a plus. The paint looks really nice, but the process was far more stress inducing than it should have been.My advice - have them explain the project step by step. When the painters begin work, have them show you they are following the contract; see for your own eyes each step of the process. When the job is complete, ask for a supervisor to inspect the job before you sign off. This will ease anxiety.Update- May 6, 2025Had a pleasant conversation with the owner. He listened intently to my concerns and my frustrations and he reassured me that the contract was filled as it stated. We both learned something. I learned I want to know the process; tell me exactly what is going to be done so I have a better understanding. He learned that there are ways to improve communication with customers and with employees. In the end, all was well. We have two beautifully painted spaces. And that is the ultimate goal.
We recently purchased a new house and wanted a lot of painting done with a lot of color. Meagan came out and gave us an estimate on Monday, Mitch got them started painting that Thursday, and Gerrie and his team were done on Friday. To say we are beyond impressed is an understatement!
