Very pleased with the results. Had popcorn ceilings removed, settling cracks repaired, new drywall and existing walls retextured, and interior painted including doors and trim. Norm and his crew were very professional, able to adjust to my renovation schedule fluctuations when unexpected things came up, and provided input and feedback on my proposed plans. Overall, it was a great experience and I know who to call when I'm ready to have the exterior painted!
Victor and his team from Custom Painting in Livermore just finished and we couldn’t be happier with their work.We select called Custom Painting because they are local and selected them because of their responsiveness and reputation.We had Hardie cement board siding put on the second floor a few years ago so that was fine, but we really needed the first floor stucco and all gutters, eves, fascia, etc. were overdue.Norman came out and gave a fair estimate. He was very clear about what was to be done and about how long it would take.We were happy to get the call that they wanted to start 2 days early.They started with a thorough power washing. Since they were up on the high ladders to do the eves, etc they did an unexpected quick wash of the cement boards also. Then it was scraping and sanding, very extensive, taking most of the fascia boards down to the bare wood. Followed by priming any bare wood or where the old paint was cracked. The actual painting was meticulous, drop cloths, masking tape and sheets and considerable skill kept it neat. During the final cleanup I noticed a guy with a razor blade scraper cleaning the tiny line that was on the edge of the glass patio window where the masking tape was not quite perfect.For the wonderful job they did, the cheerful greeting whenever I walked around (just seeing how it was going) and the regular question “Is everything OK?
