I had a small paint project that I needed help with at my house. I wanted to have an acoustical ceiling and 2 walls repainted. Kane came over to give me a quote. He was very personable, told me about how he got started in the business and the things he learned from the old time painters that were his mentors. He showed me that he has a strong work ethic and he expected the same from his employees. While he was walking around the inside of my house reviewing the project he noticed that I needed a patch repair on a portion of my acoustic ceiling. He immediately asked me if I wanted his team to fix that. I was shocked because I thought I was going to have to do that. Kane gave me a fair quote, but I did obtain 2 other quotes and both companies never offered to do the repair until I asked them about it and then they seemed hesitant. The guys, Matt and Ovidio were his team that came over to do my project. It was well managed and the areas that were painted turned out beautiful. They didn’t leave my house a mess. Distinct Painting completely transformed the look of our home. Kane and his team at distinctive Painting did a wonderful job of staining and finishing our new knotty Alder doors, windows, surround trim and baseboards. They were able to stain our new pine Pella windows to match our knotty alder woodwork trim. Kane promised and delivered a superb quality product!

Our home is 8 years old and was ready for a fresh paint job on the outside. We did some research on local painting companies as we like to keep our business local whenever possible. Additionally, when the crew came to power wash, and prep the house they must have spent a good day and a half making sure everything was prepped and ready before they ever started putting paint on. The painting crew was great, so respectful of our property and a pleasure to interact with while they worked so hard in getting our job just right! My wife and I bought our house in Nov 2024 and hired Kane to paint the entire interior including the ceilings, walls, kitchen cabinets, baseboards, casings, door jambs, doors, window sills etc. All the cabinets and trim were ALL honey oak and severely outdated. We also had them replace all the floors and re-tile the fireplace and kitchen backsplashes. He and his crew did an amazing job and were a pleasure to have in our home for the duration of the project. He addressed all of our concerns and listened to understand what we wanted. We essentially remodeled our entire home interior within 8 weeks which is really fast for a project this large. Andres and his team were fast and efficient and they left the sharpest paint transition lines I've ever seen. Ben was phenomenal with his trim and finishing skills, and as I work from home, I enjoyed seeing him for the days he was here. Other guys working with him commented on how we was the best trim guy they'd ever seen and I'd agree. They replaced all my baseboards and casings with beautiful 3" and 5" poplar and it really made the house feel more modern and cozy. We love our kitchen cabinets and they are easy to clean and are holding up well. The hickory engineered floors are really warm and inviting, and the heated tile floor in the bathroom is really nice in the mornings and evenings. The fireplace looks like it should be in a home renovation magazine and we couldn't be happier overall with all of the work done. I've been in the insurance industry for almost 10 years and I've inspected thousands of homes. I've seen work of all skill levels and if you are looking for really good work for a really good price from really good people, Distinct Painting is the only choice!
