Before setting out to do some major renovations on my home, I prayed and asked God to send me not the least expensive contractors, but the absolute best. Not only did I want them to be qualified in terms of workmanship, but I also wanted to connect with them on a personal level. God showed out in who was sent: the first was CertaPro Painters, with whom I had the most "unusually" amazing experience! I first met with representative Lindsay Getz, who came to my home and went over all my options. She was very patient with my endless list of questions, but most of all, she was warm, friendly, and extremely enthusiastic about helping me with my project. While talking through my options, I felt at peace about working with her and CertaPro, and just trusted that the cost would be in my range. And it was!! Our first meeting was so amazing that I didn't even bother getting estimates from other painters.Lindsay connected me with a decorator, Jennifer McVey, with Paint It! Color Consulting, which works with CertaPro customers to help select paint colors. I had some basic Ideas in mind, but after being led through a series of questions and looking at samples, she steered me in a new direction, helping me to select colors that I absolutely love. She gave me quite an education on trends, what was in style now, and what is timeless. She was extremely friendly and patient, and I went with her suggestions.A man named Andrew was in charge of my job, and he arrived at my home with a painter named Fredi. Fredi and his sister, Mayra, would be painting my home. Andrew, like Lindsay and Jennifer, was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable, and we hit it off in the first few minutes of meeting. He went into detail about how my project would progress and gave me clear expectations. He came to my home almost every day during the job to make sure things were progressing well and to see if I had any questions.Fredi and his sister, Mayra, were not only incredible painters but also two of the nicest people I have ever met. Being a Creative Director, I pay very close attention to detail, and I could not be more pleased with the job they did. Most of all, they treated me with respect and treated my home as if it were their own. They arrived each day at the times they said they would, and they worked diligently throughout the project. They were very careful to cover everything while painting, which was important because my ceiling was being painted as well. They worked methodically through my home, allowing me to function while the job progressed. They were SO pleasant to have in my home that I looked forward to their arrival each day. I did my best to provide lunch, water, and Red Bulls each day for Fredi. :) Hearing their laughter and joyful conversations while working really blessed me. And, although another contractor caused some complications for them, they never complained.As the job neared completion, I noticed some small areas that might need a touch-up. Mayra assured me that I didn't need to point them out. Everything I saw was touched up without me showing them a thing.Upon completion of my project, Fredi and Mayra were very careful to clean up, removing all their equipment, plastic tarps, and other items used. As they were leaving, I gave each of them a thank-you card with a gift and hugged them both. I could not have asked for two better people to work on my home.When I say I had an "unusually" amazing experience with CertaPro Painters, I mean it is rare to find a company and people so dedicated to their craft and to customer service. Most of the time, when a contractor completes a job, you always find something to complain about, but I have nothing. From start to finish, with every single person I dealt with, I was in good hands. My home is beautiful, and I am a CertaPro fan for life!
We very much enjoyed working with CertaPro to get our new home painted. Ed and the team made sure the work was done fast and right, which is all you can really ask for.
