I honestly cannot say enough good things about the work done on this home. The transformation is night and day.This house had extensive damage from a previous tenant—patched walls everywhere, uneven surfaces, and areas that frankly looked beyond saving. Not only did he take this on without hesitation, but he handled every single issue with an incredible level of detail and professionalism.The finish work is flawless. The walls are smooth, the lines are crisp, and everything looks clean, bright, and cohesive throughout the entire home. The ceilings, trim, and difficult areas (especially around windows and angles) turned out absolutely perfect. It genuinely looks like a completely different house.What stood out just as much as the quality of work was his patience. This was not a simple paint job—it required a ton of prep, repair, and extra time to do it right. He never rushed, never cut corners, and stayed committed to making sure everything was done correctly despite the condition he started with.Communication was great the entire time, he showed up when he said he would, and he clearly takes a lot of pride in his work.If you are looking for someone who can handle not just basic painting but full transformation-level work, this is your guy. I would hire him again without hesitation.

I discovered JJ while he was painting a house in my neighborhood. The owners, who I knew, were extremely pleased with his work, so I invited him to provide an estimate for my house. Unlike several other painting contractors, he kept the appointment as planned and provided a detailed plan and estimate within a week.Because it was late in the season, we postponed the job until the following year. Although the schedule shifted a couple of times, JJ always kept me informed and explained the reasons for the changes. Once the job started, he immediately got to work. My neighborhood is crowded with limited parking, but he was consistently respectful of the neighbors, many of whom complimented me on his politeness.During a portion of the prep work, we were away, and a neighbor later commented that they had never witnessed a better prep job. JJ was always a good listener, addressing any questions we had and making agreed-upon changes. The quality of the final product is truly impressive, and we are very happy with his work.I don't recommend people lightly, only if I am completely confident in their ability to deliver excellent results. I have since recommended JJ to numerous friends.
JJ absolutely crushed this project for me up on Big Mountain. Great attitude, above and beyond communication and stunning final product. Refinishing some very worn solid wood doors changed the space dramatically alongside some great cabinet painting. He also went above and beyond helping us with random bits and bobs like putting back appliances when we needed an extra hand. Thanks, JJ!
