We calculated over 180 labor-hours were used to prepare and paint, and there was no way we had that kind of time. Sure, you can find contractors who will do the job cheaper, but always remember that you get exactly what you pay for in life. And, yes, we did ask for an Estimate to paint the exterior and plan on using Pelican Painting for that massive job, too, once the rains let up and the weather gets a bit more amenable. My neighbors heard us rave about Lee's work, saw the finished product, then contracted with Lee's crew for their painting needs. Their home sold as a FSBO in hours! Although the job took two days, the painters did a great job in prepping the walls and painting. They showed up on time and cleaned up afterwards. Lee has good instincts in what paint finish would look good and what would look better. Overall, we would highly recommend Pelican Painting for your next paint job.
