I scheduled an appointment for exterior painting a week ago, with a start time of 9:45 am. At 8:45 am, I received a call from Alex, who notified me that he would arrive at 9:15 am. Given that I was working from home, this revised arrival time was satisfactory. I outlined the requirements for the exterior job this year and the interior job planned for next spring. Alex indicated that he would inspect the exterior first and then contact me. He mentioned that he may not be able to give an estimate right then, but he will email that evening or next day and confirmed my contact info.
However, he departed approximately five minutes later, and by the time I ended my phone call to meet him outside, he was already driving away. It has been a week, and I have yet to receive an estimate or return calls to my inquiries. This experience does not align with the service standards of a company that claims to be '5-star' in multiple versions.
If he found the current job to be below the company standards, he should have had the courtesy to inform us of that instead of providing false information.

I highly recommend Five Star Painting! Very professional from start to finish. The lead estimator was very thorough and took the time to explain his recommendations for the project in order to achieve the highest quality result. The estimate itself was extremely detailed so that I knew exactly what the project would cover and cost. No hidden surprises! The crew and the project coordinator were very punctual, courteous and professional. They kept everything well staged and organized and finished the job quickly. They were very responsive to any questions I had throughout the job. Awesome experience and beautiful end result!

I had a great experience with 5 Star. We had a flood in our basement and had to replace and paint some drywall. John and Joel did great work and were very courteous and professional. They arrived on time as scheduled and worked hard all day every day.
After the work was completed and they were paid, I realized I needed some paperwork signed from them and notarized. Both Mike and Brian went out of their way to make sure this was done quickly and at my convenience. I was amazed by their customer service!! Overall, I'd definitely recommend them and won't hesitate to use them again for our future painting needs.

My husband and I purchased a home that was lovely except for the wallpapered hallway, living room, and dining room circa 1985. We knew we wanted to have the hallway wallpaper removed and repainted professionally because the wallpaper extended to an area above stairs that we would need ladders for, and we didn't feel confident doing it ourselves. We thought we could do the living/dining room ourselves as we have both removed wallpaper before. Well, lo and behold, as we began to removed the wallpaper, it was tacked on tightly and began to expose sheet rock. We knew we were in over our heads so we sought out three quotes and ultimately felt Five Star Painting would be the best option.

Our job took four days to complete because the wallpaper removal was so intense. Unfortunately, a ton of dry wall was exposed and needed patching, but I was beyond impressed with the repair job. They mudded the walls and skimmed by hand, with no sanding.The team worked around the clock, took excellent care in making sure our floors were properly covered and everything remained clean. The new walls looked beautiful even without paint - though they did an excellent job with the painting as well. Five Star was excellent with communication, Mike, the project manager, checked in every day to see how things were going, and when the paint dried overnight someone was back the next day to address any touch ups. I even asked them to take a look at removing my thermostat and patching over it since I'd be replacing it the following weekend - this was above and beyond and would have had every right to say no, but Mike did it anyway.

Long story short: thorough work, communicative, and they went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. And we definitely are.

Brian, Mike and the 5 Star team did a great job on our exterior paint project from start to finish. We needed the paint to match existing siding which worked very well. All work was done in a timely manner at a fair price. I highly recommend them
