I could not recommend Go Painting enough. Chris was incredibly kind, professional, and so easy to communicate with throughout the whole process. You can tell he really takes pride in his work, he was extremely detail-oriented and took his time to make sure everything looked perfect. The finished result came out beautiful and we’re so happy with how everything turned out. I would absolutely hire him again and recommend him to anyone looking for a painter. I posted some before and afters for reference. Thanks again Chris!
Chris & his team did a great job painting almost our entire house! He was very detail oriented, treated my house and personal items with respect and was constantly asking for feedback. He did everything we asked with a smile on his face and we trusted him in our home. I would recommend him to anyone in the area. We will certainly be using him in the future when the deck needs to be sanded/stained and we will maybe even do the exterior soon too.
Great experience with this painting service. The team was punctual, professional, and paid close attention to every detail. The walls look smooth and evenly finished, with clean edges and no mess left behind. The work was completed on time and within budget. Very satisfied with the results and would gladly recommend them.
Chris is incredible! We have a masonry fire place that looked very gray and bare. We wanted to paint it but really wanted some character. Chris sprang into action using his artistry background! Chris suggested using Romabio Masonry Limewash in two colors to give it some movement and character which I hadn’t even thought of! Could not be happier with the results and excited to have him back for other work!
Where do I begin… This project started out great. I can’t say that Chris starting out with saying,“ I’m expensive “, Was the best way to begin… But I said to him very frankly that I would decide that. He was actually very reasonable for the amount of work he had to do. He did a beautiful job painting my basement and redesigning my hallway up from the basement to the main level. The only thing that was lacking there was when they had to put my banisters back up they either had lost the brackets are broken them when they took them down. I don’t know which because they didn’t tell me. I just know that the new brackets he put in weren’t a great fit and instead of remeaduring and going back to get a better fit, they did their best to make it work. The one of the two banisters they couldn’t find the stud to screw it into because he didn’t have a stud finder and mine was dead. So he put the screws in anyway. I pointed out to him that it was loose, and his response … “well I guess that’s just the way it is” because the other two were in firmly.. I said no, that’s not just the way it is because that’s not the way it was and you’re going to get it right! I was angry and rightfully so. I said I have some gorilla glue left we can try that and he said OK but we’ll use YOUR glue. I was fine with that. It worked and I let it go, until later when I noticed the condition of the other brackets. They worked, as it is clear in the pictures I’m posting that glue was applied to them as well. They also have paint on them that was not cleaned off and there were holes in the wall next to some of the brackets that they had trouble getting in correctly.. I have since filled them in, but have yet to try to remove the paint.I will use Goo-Gone to get it off, most likely with the use of a Q-tip. SOMETHING I SHOULDN’T HAVE TO DO, but will.Moving on, he did do a BEAUTIFUL JOB on my upstairs banisters, And my guest bathroom. My bathroom is better than it was, but needed some extra TLC. He offered to come by a few weeks ago, as we were talking about furthering the work, and I asked him if at the same time he was coming for a consult on doing more, if he could take a few minutes and finish that wall in my bathroom. I said it shouldn’t take you more than 30 minutes. His immediate response was “ No… Just a consult, no work. I told him then don’t bother coming out because I’m not going to contract with you for more work when the first job isn’t done. He had also been planning to come out with a paint specialist from the store where he gets his paint to work on what the problem was in my bathroom and to make it a better color. I said well when you come out with the rap can you do this, Again, “No…Just a consult“. I don’t have time for more work until December. now wait a minute… Why do you start so many other jobs when you’re still working on my house? He should’ve been back the next week to take care of the one wall and I would’ve been happy to wait for the painting consult on the ceiling. But why shouldn’t he make me wait? After all I had paid him in full not realizing that these problems existed. He had no further obligation to me because I was paid in full… I’ve yet learned another lesson.Go over all the work just done on your house before you write that final check. Go over it with a microscope or a magnifying lens… Whatever you happen to have around. Another contractor that I feel took advantage of a single older woman living alone. They all teach me something. Oh let me not forget… One of his employees used MY bathroom to take a dump and left me even worse with no toilet paper, Which I didn’t realize till after I cleaned the toilet and sat down to take care of my business. I turned to get a little toilet paper and there wasn’t any there, leaving me to cross my legs as I hopped to the other bathroom upstairs to be able to wipe myself. I was livid! This place has three toilets and I always point out which bathroom they can use to take care of business. I did tell Chris about it and asked him to tell his employees not to do it again.
