Richard's Painting of New Orleans

I couldn’t be happier with the work that Olga (Richard’s Painting of New Orleans) did on my front doors. She completely sanded and refinished them using Fine Paints of Europe high-gloss oil-based paint, and the result is absolutely stunning. The finish has a deep, mirror-like shine that truly elevates the entire front entrance of my home. Before painting, Olga carefully repaired some damage that had been caused by an appliance delivery. The repair work was seamless—you would never know the doors had been damaged. Their attention to detail during the prep process was impressive, and it clearly shows in the final finish. The company was professional, meticulous, and clearly very experienced working with high-end paints. Olga took the time to properly prep, sand, and apply the finish so the doors look like new again. High-gloss oil enamel like this is known for producing a very smooth, porcelain-like surface when applied correctly, and she absolutely nailed it. If you are looking for painters who truly care about craftsmanship and quality, I highly recommend them. The front doors have become a real focal point of the house!

We had a really great experience with Richard’s Painting of New Orleans. From the very beginning, Brett made the process easy. Since we were purchasing a new home in the Irish Channel, I couldn't have every contractor disrupt the sellers' lives before we closed on the property, so I had to put together a quote request package PDF and email it to him. Even without being able to see the job in person before starting work, the quote was clear, and when we needed to adjust the amount of work to stay within budget, he was flexible and transparent about options. Communication and responsiveness was consistent and straightforward, which I really appreciated. Olga, our project lead, was fantastic. She’s warm, professional, and clearly very talented. We felt completely comfortable having her manage the project and being in our home. We felt comfortable leaving it up to them to access the house on their own each day and lock up at night. The crew’s work exceeded our expectations. They painted the common areas of our new home — living room, kitchen, kitchen cabinets, hallways, two bedrooms, and a bathroom — and the quality shows. Clean lines, solid prep work, and real attention to detail. Punchlist items were resolved very quickly and without hesitation. Overall, they delivered exactly what they promised — and then some. I wouldn’t hesitate to hire them again and will absolutely recommend them to friends in New Orleans.

Brett and the team at Richards Painting of New Orleans have completed numerous projects for me over the past 12 months with no complaints. The team is respectful, communicative and very quick to act. I very much appreciate joy working with Brett and his team and will continue to use them on project in the coming year.

Richard's Painting painted & wallpapered my foyer. Brett was very respectful as he initially reviewed the the foyer and explained all of what was needed. Olga who oversaw the crew, as she painted and installed the wallpaper, offered many creative ideas which I greatly appreciated. She had a special, way of blending a high asthetic sense with meticulous details. Most helpful was her candor, along with a sense of humor as she explained the process of steps throughout the project. This project has been, so far, not only thorough, but FUN! (It was agreed to return to review if special final touches ie rehanging stained glass etc, a spot paint etc) Their crew was hard working, polite and treated my property in a dignified manner. They felt to me like hard working neighborhood friends.

If you’re looking for a trustworthy, speedy, impeccable contracting team, look no further. I’m a lawyer living in Lakeview with my husband and pup, and we just had the most wonderful experience with our dream reno. Brett’s team was able to turn the entire first floor of our house into something straight out of a magazine—and they did it all in FOUR DAYS. Everyone that worked on the project was incredibly kind, highly skilled, and it’s obvious from looking at their work that they put their heart and soul into everything they do. I am so eternally grateful we found this team. If you book them for a project in your home, small or large, I know you will be too. See the after and before pictures, they speak for themselves!!! (FOUR DAYS??? ??????)
