A crew of four was here all week-they were punctual, and worked hard the entire time. They were precise, they were cautious of my property, and they did an excellent job! I highly recommend Showstopper Painting. I also received excellent attention from Michele, Karen, and Kristi.

From first contact through to finished project, I could not be happier with my choice to hire Showstopper Painting for the interior of my house! I value the help they give with a designer to choose the paint colors with an eye to the feel I wanted and their flexibility in second-guessing one of them. Next, when the painting team arrived, I loved how they went to work to protect all surfaces before beginning the painting. And then the painting itself: my plaster walls in a 110 year old house aren’t easy but the end result is as crisp as can be! The crew was very efficient and the whole job was done in the time allotted ( faster!). This included my constant walk through sand questions and little touch ups. The crew had a lead and also a project manager came frequently to manage my questions.

We are so happy with Showstopper Painting! From the time the sales team came to give us a quote, to the time they came to do the work, everything went very smoothly! Daniel and Kevin were very helpful in getting our project set up, and making sure we were well taken care of!

The ladies who came to paint were very focused, timely, and did a wonderful job! I am very happy with this company and would definitely hire Showstopper again for future paint projects!

If you are looking for a great painting company that is professional and reasonably priced, Showstopper won’t disappoint!

I received several texts asking that I leave a review. I wrote back saying that I hadn’t left a review yet because it wasn’t going to be good. I haven’t heard anything since. I then sent an e-mail to the original person who did the estimate and he responded 16 days ago " I will make sure our crew gets back out there to finish cleaning up and touchup," but one has been out

I've used this company several times in the past and have always had exceptional service. This time was NOT good. It is clear the company has undergone MORE than just a change in NAME.

Most areas were not sufficiently prepped (see the chips literally hanging under the paint), the grass had paint on it and died, parts of the porch that are red had white paint on them, and there was chicken wire left in the bushes.

I have been a repeat customer because previous work has been excellent. But things have CHANGED. Bugging me for weeks to leave a review and then ghosting me when I pointed out the issues does not seem like very good customer service.

Showstoppers: The sales person is truly a sales person. You are given a fancy folder when in reality is not worth the paper it’s written on. After the sales person came to our home our project went downhill with each interaction. We were told Showstoppers’s employees would be doing our cabinet repainting. The “crew”’ started with one supervisor and three workers. This quickly went down to two workers and then 1 worker who was “dropped”’off at our home. This crew did not appear to be showstopper employees as they were not in showstopper’s uniforms and indicated to us they were kind
of “employees”. After they indicated they were done with the painting of the kitchen cabinets I had over 35 pieces of tape with items needing fixed- this included paint runs, paint not covering previous paint, chips not sanded out, surfaces that had dull finishes etc. They also left their larger utility trailer in my driveway over the weekend without asking or even telling us.

The amount of disappointment was crushing. I had waited 3 years to have my cabinets painted, passed on a local person and paid more because of the sales pitch we were provided by Showstoppers.

Showstoppers states on their shiny sales folder “our mission is to Honor the Lord through the way we drastically transform peoples experience with traditional contractors”. I have been a homeowner for over 30 years and this experience was drastically horrific.
We were told a manager would be out and he was a no show. After being gaslit by the first manager, a district manager arrived to inspect our cabinets and agreed there were many issues. I insisted all the cabinets be removed again, re-sanded and repainted. This meant resealing off my kitchen again, having no access to my kitchen or living room. Once they were re-sanded and repainted for a 2nd time there were issues with the alignment of the drawers, cabinets and a few paint touch ups. Since the cabinets had been removed twice and reinstalled a bracket was damaged and the first manager told me I could order one.

I work for a large company that takes customer service and surveys very seriously. I do not take providing a negative survey lightly.

My hope is providing this review is that 1) Showstoppers will reassess their organization and their core values. They come in strong and finish weak. There are too many chiefs and not enough Indians. Do better. Live up to all your shiny promises. Manage a job from sale to completion.
2) Homeowners: As a homeowners home repairs are expensive and the goal is to have a good experience after spending thousands of dollars- this was not the case each step of the way for our cabinet painting.
One of the promises Showstoppers has is that they will not wash their paint brushes in your sink. Can we focus on the real issues- a good quality paint job.

The final straw was I asked (because I wasn’t provided one )for a warranty card and received 2 and both were wrong. One card was a 5 year warranty and the second one was a 15 year warranty card but the date was only for 5 years. I asked for the correct warranty card for 15 years and dated for 15 years as our contract stated. We again received a “sincere” apology and received the 15 years warranty card.
The shiny paper shows 100% money back guarantee if you aren’t completely satisfied. We are not completely satisfied.
We did receive a small adjustment because of the horrific experience but I am not completely satisfied. What should have been a professional home repair was a chaotic mess filled with phone calls, emails, stress, and disappointment. Ultimately we hired someone to finish the job.
