Miller Painting

We used Miller Painting in 2021 to repaint the interior of our home and again in 2026 to repaint the exterior. Both times, Dave and his team did a great job with prep, painting and clean-up. The pricing was reasonable and fair. He has kept the same team over the years and they work together well and are very respectful of the property.

I wasn't sure what would become of the plants and cacti around the house but his team knows how to do work around them. I only had to trim the bougainvillea growing up the wall a little bit.

When getting the estimate, Dave will explain what he is going to do for the prep work, like wash the exterior, caulk where it is needed, repair chips in the stucco, etc. He will ensure all your questions get answered along the way and that you are satisfied.

He’s been doing this a long time here in the Coachella valley and expertly knows house painting. In fact, he knows his paint colors so well, he can look at a white wall and know it’s Dunn-Edwards name, like “oh, that’s Swiss Coffee”.

When it comes to scheduling the job, Dave is “old school”, carrying around his pencil and paper calendar. As we discussed timing during the visit for the estimate, I wasn’t in a hurry but mentioned we had guest coming in a few weeks so that week would be out so any time after that would be fine.

A few days after getting the bid, to my surprise, Dave called and said he would like to get started. Apparently he had some delays/set-backs from another job but because he cares about his team and wants to keep them working to get paid, he scheduled my house in early and completed the job before the guests arrived.

I am quite satisfied with Miller Painting and would recommend him to my friends for their house painting needs.

This was our second time using Miller Painting, which shows that we were pleased with their previous services. I had found them in the Gay Yellow Pages that was free at the car wash and I wanted to support LGBTQ+ ally businesses. This second time we had them paint various portions of the front and back or our home that had faded under the desert sun. This time the service was a little off, but was remedied without complaint. There were areas where the brush strokes were very apparent and Miller Painting immediately corrected those areas. They did try to upsell us a few times, but we were firm in what we wanted painted. When the job was complete they apologized for taking longer than expected, but it wasn't a big deal. Would use them again.

I highly recommend Miller Painting. We hired them to paint the exterior of our modern home, and after working with this family company, it’s clear why they have been in business for so long. David was very prompt is getting back to us and providing a clear estimate. The crew was also great. We have an old house that needed a good amount of repair and stucco work. Their prep work, clean up and painting was excellent. The other owner, Jeff, helped us pick out colors and he did all the more detailed trim work which turned out beautiful. Selecting paint colors is such an overwhelming task so it was a relief to work with Jeff who has a great eye and is very knowledgeable about desert colors/styles. When we redo the interior, we will definitely hire Miller Paintings!

Miller has painted 2 homes for us and each time we have been extremely satisfied. They've been very competitive on the pricing as well. We tried a different painter one time to go a little cheaper, but it wasn't worth it, the paint job didn't last very long and the workers were not as conscientious. I would recommend Miller to anyone.
