We had a great experience with Bear Island Painting! Sergio and his guys did a fantastic job on a full exterior paint job and repairing/repainting all of the window and door frames. They worked quickly, professionally, and took care of everything for a reasonable price. Can't recommend them enough.

Bear Island Painting offers a top quality painting experience from start to finish. Sergio has painted both the exterior and interior of our 1929 Spanish style home. With painting, it is all about the prep work. If the project is not prepped correctly, it is like putting lipstick on a pig. Sergio spent an entire day just prepping the walls of our barrel ceiling living room. We did not notice all the earthquake cracks as some were very minor. But, Sergio saw every one and prepped all cracks correctly. Meticulous to a fault. As the painting progressed, he added suggestions that proved to enhance the entire look. You wont go wrong in selecting Sergio as your Painter.

Sergio and his crew did an amazing job on our 111 year-old house! Sergio’s attention to detail is beyond incredible. Sergio is meticulous about his work and he is very professional and skilled. Sergio clearly takes pride in his work. He went above and beyond to make our home absolutely beautiful. I felt as if Sergio treated our home as if it was his own house. Sergio and his crew were very reliable. They always showed up on time and got right to work. When they finished, they always cleaned up after themselves. This is without a doubt the best company we’ve ever hired to do anything. We watched Sergio and Ricardo paint our neighbor’s house and were so impressed with how meticulous they were and how beautiful the finished product was, that we hired them to paint the exterior of our house. Our experience with Bear Island was perfect from start to finish. Bid and scheduling were easy, they showed up and left at the same times every day, and they kept and left our property spotless each day. Likewise, communication was clear and frequent; we were on the same page throughout. Any question or request we had was met with “No problem.” And there never once was. They totally understood the mid-century modern aesthetic we were going for and flawlessly executed it. Moreover, they kindly offered so many invaluable suggestions regarding aesthetics/color combinations (in terms of contrasts, darkening vs. whitening roof pipes, etc.). Their attention to detail was amazing. They prepped, sanded, fixed, and painted so many little things that we would never have thought of. They know how to do everything, including seamless patching, fixing wood & stucco, and much, much more. They are affable and professional people who take pride in their craftsmanship and who clearly prioritize the satisfaction of their clients.
