I converted my unfinished basement to a 2 bed 1 bath apartment with the help from Szent - Ivany and Sons.I got quotes from multiple companies and selected Szent - Ivany and Sons because of the level of details they included in the quote as well as clear and straightforward communication.Communication is important in any project but it was critical for me as I was not on the site.As for the price, they were not the cheapest and they were not the most expensive either. I thought the pricing was about right.Since the build was done in compliance with all city and other codes, there were multiple challenges along the way including adding extra firewalls, reorient furnace, etc. They were super flexible with all the changes that were required by city inspectors as well as my own asks to change things along the way. They handled requesting all permits and coordinating with inspectors for inspections.They say they consider all projects as working on their own properties and I believe this is quite true. They suggested multiple improvements along the way to improve functionality, cut cost, improve aesthetics, and maximize space, most of which I approved, which drastically improved the final product.I am glad that I selected Szent - Ivany and Sons for the project and would not hesitate to get their services for any future projects or recommend them for anyone looking to complete any construction project.
The Szent-Ivany crew is amazing! They were punctual and immediately got to work on pairing a very large house. Their attention to detail showed in every room and the finished result looks fantastic! They kept spaces clean throughout the project and left things spotless upon completion. They were courteous, professional and always available whenever I had a question. Had the pleasure of hiring Chris and Jonah for my apartment accent walls. I went with a very dark grey and was so impressed with the painting and no mistakes, they did a fabulous job.
