A-1 Painting and Remodeling

Adrian of A-1 painting paid close attention to what my wants and needs and offered several options and worked with me to decide on the best option. He is prompt and professional and took time to make sure that the project was completed with absolute quality. Now the fence looks fantastic.

Reached Adrian via a google “cold” call seeking extensive repair work & painting for our front door with years old, surrounding trim, following disappointing & horribly botched painting executed during our extensive home remodel. Adrian impressed me immediately. His professionalism, hearing my emotionally-loaded dilemma, was an enthusiastic, quick-response action plan for saving my exterior entry. Hearing his confidence with supporting explanation for approach, remedy, process, and use of materials necessary for recovery was encouraging. A bid proposal was delivered promptly, with accurate task descriptions & fair pricing included. The project was labor intensive—a lot of it done by hand. Though we ultimately concluded replacing the door was necessary, Adrian recovered the rest, painted & installed the new door expertly. I retained my existing hardware. It’s gleaming! My front exterior has not only been brought back to life, but now exudes youthfulness and energy! I couldn’t be happier. Adrian is an artist with unmatched demeanor, and a conscientious, creative and versatile work ethic—a super nice, smart & interesting guy. I’m already planning future projects involving Adrian’s expertise. The photos below prove Adrian loves a challenge, and can tackle one successfully!

Adrian did any amazing job painting my entire house! He is very attentive details and dedicated to his work. In addition to painting, he closed off walls, added office doors, installed an high ceiling fan and even opened up a closet for me to convert into a mudroom. We were impressed with his drywall work and making the closed walls blend into the existing ones. I would highly recommend him!

I cannot say enough good things about Adrian and A-1 Painting and Remodeling. I think he's personally touched every square inch of our house over the last year. It started with a drywall repair in the our ceiling, then a complete interior paint job and then a faux finish on our kitchen cabinets, and new vinyl floors. He also put down a an epoxy finish on our garage floors and repaired the walls. The last project (for now) has been a white wash on our stone fireplace to bring it in line with the new color scheme. Our house went from beige and brown earthy tones to white and gray. Adrian put a white wash on the orange/brown stone and then distressed it. Then he mounted an incredibly large cedar log mantel. I completely trust his artistic eye and judgment-- he is a true master. Not to mention an honest businessman which is hard to find these days where making a quick buck on a half done project seems to be the norm. When we've found an issues with the work, of which there have not been many, he was quick to fix it and make it right. He's even been nice enough to hang a few pictures for us so that they are in the best spot and level (maybe just so he doesn't have to patch the holes I make, but still).
