Diamond Star Painting

After posting my original review, Chris Gardner, CEO of Diamond Star Painting, reached out to me personally. We had an open and genuine conversation about my experience, and he thanked me for sharing my feedback in a way that helped him identify where improvements were needed. Chris came to my home, walked the property with me, and took full ownership of making things right. The following week, his crew arrived as promised, and when I returned home, I found that everything we discussed had been corrected. Chris even inspected the work himself that morning and fixed a few additional details he felt didn’t meet his standards. My original concerns were never about poor workmanship, but about communication and follow-through — both of which Chris addressed directly and sincerely. It’s clear that steps are being taken at the company level to strengthen those areas. I’m not deleting my original post because it reflects how things began, but I’m adding this update because it shows how they ended — with genuine accountability and effort to make things right. I’ve updated my rating and can now say I would recommend Diamond Star Painting.

Our garage and front doors needed a refresh, so we reached out to Diamond Star after seeing a beautiful, whole-house, job they did for a neighbor. Tom came out and gave us an incredible bid that included not just the doors, but the gutters and porch railing as well. He really went out of his way to make sure the color match was perfect too. Tom is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet. He takes great pride in what he does, and cares deeply for his costumers, ensuring complete satisfaction. His employees are awesome too. Tanya did our job, and what a talent she is. She had to sand and fill areas of our front door, and it turned out amazing. Her attention to detail is impressive and really shows in her work. Tanya is so sweet and was such a pleasure to work with. All around great company that offers great service, delivered by kind and caring people, backed by customer service like no other. So grateful we found them!

Obtained a bid to repaint the interior upstairs walls and exterior upstairs of my 15 year old home; children wear on paint! The estimator didn't rush and asked lots of questions about my expectations and the scope of the project. Following my acceptance of the bid, I received a electronic signed copy and a call from their office for scheduling. A neighbor was having work done also, so they started about one week after the contract was signed. During that week, a representative, Theresa, came out to review the site and my color choices (they offer paint matching, but I didn't require it; I had codes from the builder) and review of the contract. She also confirmed that I understood For my bid, I am moving furniture, wall-hangings (though not fixtures), plants, etc. The crew came out and painted my home over the course of 3 days; excellent work was done to protect landscaping, tape edges, and protect property. No spills or messes on site during the work. The crew showed up consistently at or before 730 and typically finished by around 330. They just finished work on the exterior and had me look over the job (fresh eyes). Everything looks very nice. Extra paint was left behind for me to use for touch up. I should add that the contract includes a 10 year guarantee on the work performed. I just made a partial payment on the job and expect great things when the crew returns in a month to finish the interior portion of the job. Diamond Star Painting provided a very good team of professionals that worked hard, were personable and friendly and all of which was provided with a fair price. The follow-up was excellent always with my satisfaction as the priority. I'm very happy with the job they completed and would not hesitate to hire Diamond Star again.

We decided to have the exterior of our house painted. We received estimates from several different companies. Diamond Star had the best prices by far! When it came time to select a color for our house we had picked a color, but we were unable to get samples to be able to see what the paint would actually look like on our house, because the paint store was out of the colors we wanted. Our Diamond Star representative was so concerned that we be able to see what the color we picked out would look like that she called around to other stores until she could find our color and she personally delivered the samples to us to make sure we were satisfied. The crew that came out was very professional and did an amazing job. Our representative was present the entire time to make sure we were satisfied. All during the process they made sure to ask us exactly what we wanted done if any issues came up. Our house turned out beautiful! We consistently have people tell us how much they like the way our house looks. Choosing Diamond Star to paint our house was money well spent!
