We're so glad we found this company and can't be happier with the end result. There are a ton of painters in Victoria, but we knew right away when the Parkside rep came over for a free estimate and to discuss colour options that this was the crew for us. Joseph was very personable and guided us in making decisions. He offered a quote right away and didn't pressure us. We just knew that we hated the colours of our new condo (dark, depressing) and that the whole place needed to be brightened up for us to enjoy it the way we wanted to. Kyle was our painter, and he was awesome. We could tell he was very experienced in the way he paid attention to detail. We also liked his laid back nature. One of the owners, Sunny, was also coming by daily to check on things, which was nice to know. The other owner, Mike, was also a real pleasure to deal with, as he was sending us a daily progress report to keep us in the loop. Our new place has now become our home. If you need a painter, give these guys a shot. Thanks, guys, for making us feel like your most important customer!
We are beyond pleased with the services and final results of Parkside Painting. We had quotes from 3 companies and they had the best price. We have a one bedroom condo that had very dark colours, dark purple on one wall and a blue/grey the rest of the living room on a northwest facing unit, was very low on light. We chose to paint LR, Bed and bathroom. We were given 6 paint colour choices to paint swatches (Joseph came to do this) on the walls for a week to make a choice on the colours we wanted. That was very helpful. We chose much lighter colours, whites with hints of colours. They sent Kyle to come do the painting. He was very professional, friendly and did an awesome job, we still can’t believe the difference it is making, so much light now, colours look amazing. He did the prep, patching and sanding, covered floors and furniture. We chose a satin finish and I can’t find one bump or blemish on the entire job, walls are very smooth. Kyle was able to cover the very dark walls with prime +2 coats of lighter colours. Mike sent updates every day to keep us informed on the progress. We would hire them again, possibly thinking of painting our kitchen cabinets, we will see.
These guys are 5-star. I had them paint all of the exterior windows/doors and the fascia of my home and garage. They very very focused on properly preparing the wood surfaces. I have used other painters in the past. None were as professional as this company. Parkside send me daily email reports including photos. One lower front window had "major" wood rot; way more than expected. Despite that, Parkside abided by the original quote. Wow!!
Mike was super upfront and honest.Painters were friendly, showed up on time, and worked late to take advantage of the dry weather.Any small imperfections, we felt comfortable pointing out and they touched it up same day. Very reputable service.
Parkside did a fantastic job of painting our house. It is 101 and required a lot of fine detail work. They were a lovely crew to have in our home. I highly recommend them!
