J Brown Painting

These guys are my go-to painting team. They've helped me a few times over the years and are always affordable, timely, and professional. They recently completed a thorough repainting of our office, outdoor shed, and multiple rooms in our house. Before was blue, and the after is an off-white. Special shoutout to Gudiel and Felipe for being very communicative throughout the whole process. Happy to recommend to anyone looking for a thorough and professional group in San Diego.

J Brown Painting did an outstanding job on my house. From start to finish, Justin was professional, communicative, and detail-oriented. The prep work was thorough, the lines are crisp, and the final result looks fantastic—clean, modern, and exactly what we discussed. They showed up when they said they would, kept the job site neat, and clearly take pride in their work. Felipe, the supervisor, and Gabriel were fantastic. It’s rare to find a painter who combines craftsmanship, reliability, and fair pricing this well. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend J Brown Painting to anyone looking for high-quality exterior (or interior) paint work. Very happy with the results.

We recently hired Guidel and the painting team at J Brown to limewash our entire medical center, and the results are absolutely stunning. This was a large, detailed project, and their craftsmanship, professionalism, and attention to detail exceeded every expectation. Guidel was incredible to work with from start to finish—organized, communicative, and genuinely committed to making sure the space looked perfect. The limewash transformed our center into a warm, elevated, and serene environment that our staff and patients already love. If you’re looking for skilled painters who take pride in their work and deliver beautiful, high-quality results, we highly recommend Guidel and J Brown. An outstanding experience all around.

My husband, Brad Lichtman, and I had J Brown Painting work on the facia around our home last week. Initially, Noell came out and gave us an estimate which we thought was quite reasonable. Then, when the workers arrived and started working, we knew it was a great deal! We’d like to give a shout out to the supervisors Gudiel and Nur who would stop by and check on how things were going. And a special shout out to the workers, Frank, Sam, and Rocky, all of whom were super friendly and professional. They were such hard workers and went out of their way to make sure everything was done just right! We thank you and appreciate you! We highly recommend J Brown Painting.

Every step of the process we were extremely happy with J. Brown Painting! We got many quotes for stucco repair and exterior painting before choosing this company, and that started with Justin’s thoroughness, easy communication, and reasonable quote. The crew was very kind, hard working, and the work was exceptional—shout out to Carlos, Antonio, Christian, and Hector! It turned out beautifully despite having to schedule around lots of rain. Thank you! Highly recommend!
