Great experience with this painting team. They were punctual, professional, and very detail-focused. The final finish is smooth and flawless, giving the space a fresh new look. Everything was completed efficiently, and the area was left clean. I’m extremely satisfied with the quality and would highly recommend them.
My mom hired this company to paint her entire house when they were based in Staten Island, and it was a nightmare from start to finish. The owner had his 15 year old son running the crew (illegal), and their helper John was rude and dismissive, telling my mom, “You go get it” when they needed more materials. WHAT?!?!?! They damaged her wood floor and when confronted, the owner refused to take responsibility, saying, “my guys didn’t damage it and my guys don’t lie.”They used way too much wallpaper remover, which destroyed the walls and forced new sheetrock to be installed downstairs and even then, the walls were far from smooth. When the owner claimed he specialized in crown molding, it turned out he didn’t know how to do it himself and had to subcontract the job because one of the helpers left mid project. With the crew short staffed, John and the 15 year old ended up doing most of the work.They also did a good old classic bait and switch, quoting a low price only to keep raising it because of random “unforeseen issues.” What should have been a straightforward paint job took over two months, and their crown molding work was so botched they subcontracted it out mid job, but didn’t fix what they had already messed up.On top of everything, they offered zero help picking materials or design decisions. My mom spent money buying all crown molding instead of a mixture of crown molding and chair rails like she wanted, and they didn’t even recognize it as crown molding until after installation, so it ended up in the wrong places and looked completely unprofessional. They didn’t even fill the holes in any of the molding.The final outcome looked more like a funhouse than a finished project. Damaged walls, sloppy trim, unfinished molding, and mistakes everywhere you looked. This wasn’t just poor workmanship, it was dishonesty, mismanagement, and a total lack of respect for the client.Don’t just take my word for it. Google their names and you’ll see why they’re no longer on Staten Island. This was chaos disguised as professionalism, and anyone considering them now should think twice. We won’t forget this experience, and neither should you.
Joe and his team were amazing to deal with and I would highly recommend them for painting, drywall and general carpentry work. The team was highly professional and very responsive while providing quality service. The work was performed with great attention to detail and showed their experience in their craftsmanship. They also provided recommendations on a scope of work that would provide the best value for the price. It was a real pleasure to work with them.
JNJ Painting and More did an amazing job on the exterior painting of my house in Jessup.From Joe coming to give me an estimate to Nick and John coming to performing the work from start to finish, they were all very professional.
