I recently had new Windows installed in my house. The new window trim needed to be painted as soon as possible. I was looking to get the whole house done as well. I was given a referral to 2 painting contractors. One told me that they couldn't do it until next Spring, and Estrada Pro Painters responded by saying they could start in two days. The finished job looks fantastic and the attention to detail spot on. They were prompt and professional and also worked into the evening (dark) to complete the job. Ivan Estrada was recommended to me by the company installing 2 sliding doors and 2 regular outside doors to do the painting for the surrounds and stain the door sills. I liked his bid and got to talking about several other projects around my house. Each of these had some level of repair work involved. In each case his response was”we can do that.”

Like a hot tub surround with a bunch of rotten wood that needed replacing. The literally rebuilt the side by the back wall.

Or, A roof installation where the nails were too long and left sharp points sticking out that had to be clipped, puttied, sanded and then come back the next day to paint.

The longer story is...
We initially went with a different painter that did not work out at all. The first painter who we parted ways with after one room did no prep, didn't protect floors, color-matched our selected BM paint with a SW color that didn't work and needed to be redone,, failed to remove light switches and antique heat returns, and spilled paint on an expensive Hunter Douglas blind. This painter described his approach as "different from other painters and erratic style." No thank you. After this false-start, I searched for a top quality painter and after reading Estrada's 5-star reviews, I called Ivan. I am SO SO happy I did.

Ivan's estimate process was detailed and professional and the price more than fair for the quality of the work and attention to detail. Lesson learned with the first painter, if the price is super cheap, the prep and quality will also likely be cheap.

Ivan while very busy (as good painters are) worked to accommodate our move-in timeline given the lost time we had with painter #1. His crew worked on the wekends and even late into the night on a few days to get the work done, and done very well.

Their prep was flawless with floors and built-ins protected and everything taped straight. My husband even texted me a picture after Ivan's team completed the noting "night and day" from our first painter.

I'm including some before AND after pictures. One thing to note is that our house has a lot of built-ins and the large living room unit was updated to get rid of an outdated "media shelf." This required that the entire built-in be repainted including all the cabinet doors. Not only was this down with perfection, but the job blends in with other built-ins.

I can confidently say we found our Eugene painting crew and we are already booking with them for part-two work on a basement apartment. Thank you Ivan and Estrada Pro Painters. You guys are the best. - Christine

I hired Estrada Pro Painters to paint accent walls in the living room, dining room, and master bedroom, and master bathroom and my house finally feels like a home!
