Reviews

What customers say

Several customers praised the workmanship. A property manager valued the estimator's thorough review of a commercial building and said its paintwork was still looking good seven years later. A renter reported that a new railing was installed over a cracked post and painted without repairing or replacing the post, and also cited rough finish work and demolition wood left behind.

This company recently replaced and repainted the railing at the property where I rent. While I wasn’t the one who hired them (the landlord arranged the work), I was present during the project and noticed several concerns. During the removal of the old railing, one of the support posts was cracked. The new railing was installed on top of that cracked post and then painted over rather than the post being repaired or replaced. The finish work on the top rail also looks rough in several places, with visible seams and numerous nail/staple marks across the surface. Cleanup was also lacking. Rotten wood from the demolition was left on the ground, and wood scraps were put into my trash can without asking. I would recommend closely inspecting the work after installation to make sure everything is addressed properly.

Updating my last review, which was based on not hearing back from the company. Just had a call from John Brink explaining the reason for the delay. He also sent along an estimate. I appreciate him reaching out to let us know what was going on. My review is reflective of the previous work Brink has done for us. Good company that does good work. Still waiting for an estimate. 2 weeks. Must not need customers. Too bad. Had been our go to paint company.

I own a well known and highly respected local property management company and we have used Brink Painting and Construction, LLC to great success. Actually, I need to be more specific.... I have a commercial building that I manage personally that really should have been resided but the owner didn't want that at the time. So, I called around to get painting estimates. Brink came in around mid-range but what I really liked was their estimator taking the time to really go over the building. I mean he really went over it thoroughly - much more so than the other vendors. I felt like he really wanted to ensure he could do this satisfactorily due to the state of the siding. What an awesome job they did...one that is still looking great 7 years later! This saved my client lots of money and made my company look good to my client. Highly recommended painting contractor in my opinion (and we deal with a lot of painters).
