We have worked with countless contractors while fixing up our big 1980’s home, and I can confidently say, TPP was the best decision we made!! Cody and his team were phenomenal to work with! We met with 5 exterior painting companies and ultimately went with Cody and his team because no other company came close to the knowledge, experience, and professionalism that TPP offers.

Let me start by saying that all 4 of the other companies treated my house like every other house. They’d said they use a certain generic paint and were not helpful when it came to picking colors. I assume they didn’t want the liability of picking the wrong color and us hating it. But I’m indecisive and exterior paint is VERY hard to get right so I needed help. Trust me, you need someone who KNOWS paints and Cody knows paint!!

When Cody arrived, he was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. He listened to my concerns and the outcome I envisioned before walking the exterior. He informed us of what they needed to do and why, and what paint I needed to use for my 80’s cedar siding and why. The paint recommended by the other companies would’ve started peeling within a couple years and I wouldn’t have known why that was happening unless I met Cody. He also knew which colors would look best on my house and brought swatches for me to visualize. He was spot on!

His crew showed up on time and ready to work! They sanded and filled, replaced bad boards and pressure washed. They were very respectful, neat, cleaned up every day and were responsive to anything I needed. They truly cared about our home and didn’t treat it like just another project. We have nothing but the highest praise for TPP and highly recommend them!! Worth every penny!

I will start this review by admitting upfront I am very particular so believe me when I say, this is a 5 star company. I had already received a few quotes to have our exterior home and garage painted, Cody was the only one in surrounding Houston that actually seemed knowledgeable about not only the paint, but the exterior material, weather conditions and what was needed to get the job done. On top of that, he came more competitively priced than the other quotes. My home was no walk in the park, with cedar siding dating back to 1975, holes that needed repair, new paint not properly primed/applied, knots bleeding through and vinyl windows, wood and aluminum doors, it was a lot. His (amazing!) crew came out and battled Texas weather for 2 weeks to get our home done. I noticed a few spots I wanted another coat on and the team was back out to get it done. I will say, when doing the initial walk through of your expectations, be very specific on what you want done, repaired, nails removed, etc. There was some miscommunication but was easily avoidable on my part if I had been more specific upfront. Cody is top notch and after a primer didn't work well on a door, he personally did troubleshooting and again had Luis and team to come out to redo the doors. The repairs looked like they had always been a part of our home and they took time to caulk everything!! This kind of quality and care from a business is unheard of nowadays. Cody built this company from the ground up and you can see the passion, very happy to have come across Texas Precision! We have gotten so many compliments and people coming by, it feels great to be proud of our home. (Tudor Style brick home, Urbane Bronze SW paint color)

Mountains Are Calling on Texas Precision Painting

I contacted Cody and Texas Precision Painting after being "ghosted" by several other painters/painting companies. Cody arrived on time for our measuring/proposal appointment and was the utmost professional. While his quote was higher than others I had received, I decided to use TPP because they took the time to educate me on my options, advise me against certain ideas that I had that would have cost me more money in the long run, etc.

Cody's team led by Pepe' arrived on time every single morning. They were courteous, professional, and always cleaned up after themselves. When the job was complete, I did an entire walkthrough with Cody. Any areas that were not perfect, he made a note of and insisted that the team address. I was so pleased with the work that I hired TPP to do work on the house that I was selling. We ran into a minor hiccup and Cody stepped right in to ensure that the job was done to my satisfaction. I have more work that I will need in the future, and I would hire him again in a second.

It is hard to come by contractors that are as knowledgable, kind, and professional as Cody. I wish he could have led all of my remodeling projects. I know that if he says he is going to do something, he will stand by his word. Not only that, but their work is beautiful!!

You might find a "cheaper" contractor, but trust me....it will cost you more in the long run. Pay a little more upfront to have the positive experience that you will get with Cody and team.
