Had CertaPro paint our open basement ceiling. They did a virtual consult which I really appreciated (instead of in-person hostage situation sales pitch), quoted 50% less than our first quote, and got it done within a week (only one day to do the actual job). Fast, efficient, affordable. Exactly what I was looking for with our straightforward basement project.
We had used CertaPro several year ago to paint the exterior of our former home. They did a great job at a fair price. When we decided to finish our lower level in a new condo, we once again asked Certa Pro for a quote. Erick was there the next day and we had detailed info by the end of the day. We were able to book a crew the following week. Our GC had done a poor job on priming the drywall and some of the trim. Our CertaPro crew was able to make timely adjustments to our original plan and ensure the finished product was exceptional. Even with the "fixes" they finished on time and communicated every step of the way. It might have been a little more expensive than some smaller companies, but it was well worth it to have trusted professionals handling our job. Highly recommend!
I write this review in order to help save someone else the money and time my Certapro experience took from me. In May we had hail damage to our home and it spattered enough the home needed to be painted. I knew I wasn’t happy with Certapro but I did not know how bad the Certapro job was until the home was power washed today and I my jaw dropped at the amount of missing paint. Attached are photos of my home that was painted by Certapro 10/5/23 and then painted again for warranty work last summer. The last photo is rotten wood the warranty advisor argued with my wife over. “That rotted after we painted it” as my wife stuck a screw driver through the board… well today they took part of the board off the house when it was power washed.Here is where my rant begins: October of 2023, I took 2 days off work because I caught the painters painting rotten wood on day 1 after I explained to them I was paying for the wood to be pulled and replaced. This “finish the job as fast as possible” attitude continued the remainder of the time they were here. Paint done poorly. Caulk, my god. The number of times I walked the house to point out caulk that was missing or done poorly was obscene. In the end most of the caulk they applied is going to be stripped and redone…
The crew showed up on time as planned. They were very careful to cover everything before starting my varnishing project. And they were careful to move items, or furniture, out of the way and protect it all. It was a full day job with three guys, but they were able to finish it all in a day, which was surprising due to the size of my wooden ceiling. It all looks great and I'm very happy with their work.
CertaPro Painters is a very professional, top notch company. From the free estimate to the final clean up they had our needs in mind and did the job very well. The established a timeline and stuck to it. Cleaned up and left nothing for us to pick up. They painted our entire 2000+ square foot home ceilings in less than 2 days. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
