Johnson Painting Co. & More

October 17, 2025 (Friday) We hired Johnson Painting & More to remove wall paper and to paint two bathrooms. Joel came to our house to access the project and give us a quote. He had a great sales pitch , telling us how good the painters were (witch was true) and that every thing would be cleaned up, the light fixtures would be installed, towel racks and shower rod put back up. The first day, two painters showed up for the job and worked from 8:30 until 3:00. Everything went fine for the first day and a half and then one of the painters was pulled off our job to go to another job and things went down hill from there. Apparently other jobs had been scheduled or over- booked and the painters were understaffed. Chris, the painter, was told to install the bathroom fixture which he attempted to do. However, he did not have the tools or supplies to properly install the fixture in the master bathroom and one side was barely hanging on. He should not have been told to install the light in the first place I do not fault him at all. He was doing what he was told to do. He is a painter (and a good one) not an electrician We did call an electrician in to re-install the fixture and install the light fixture in the other bathroom. On Wednesday, the last day on the job, Chris came to work at 8:30 and Joel came in at 5:00 and rushed Chris through finishing the job. Needless to say, the painting got a little "sloppy". Without asking, they stayed until 9:00 PM. Chris had worked for 12 hours and I could tell he was exhausted. To sum this all up, the paint job seemed to be a "rush and let's go to another job". I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY

These guys did a great job for me. I went out of town and needed the entire home repainted before I moved. They did an amazing job! They even went above and beyond by fixing a broken door and helping repair the flooring. Travis in particular was very friendly helpful and skillful. I appreciate him! Certainly worth your money and trust!

One of the best and easiest contractors I have worked with. Had a large ceiling area of old peeling paint, and they quickly scraped and sanded the entire ceiling and put plenty of fresh paint. This was a big job and they were very efficient doing a very good job, which helped with my home refinancing. You can see the difference from the original peeling ceiling and the finished work. Very knowledgeable and professional, easy to talk to and get along with. Good neighbor values, I would certainly hire them again for any painting job, highly recommended. ??
