Dani at Western Exterminator was so helpful to me. We had a fly issue and couldn’t figure out where they were coming from. Danny figured out they were originating from the ceiling fan, which went out to the area where we keep our trash cans. He cleverly thought to put a screen within the fan vent so that no flies could transfer in and out through small spaces. He also helped with other preventative measures around our house. This company has gone through several acquisitions and we have been customers for over 20 years. When you try to cancel auto pay, there is no option on their online website. The quarterly spray service is overpriced by approximately $60 per quarter and the termite warranty is overpriced by $150. In the past 20 years, we have seen their prices inch up. You can never speak directly to the office you have to go through a call center. We prefer a smaller shop and these days with online reviews and yelp there is no reason why a person has to go through these big corporate centers. We tried to cancel our service online and cancel auto pay, and there was no option. After waiting on hold for over 30 minutes with their call center, I finally spoke to an individual.I asked for an email confirming our cancellation after we telephonically advised them to cancel service. They said they sent it. We waited online with them. Nothing showed up. The next day still nothing ….had to call them again. They claim that they have canceled our service, but we will have to see ; we have nothing in writing other than our phone calls. I do not recommend using this company any longer until they can provide better customer service in all areas: telephonically, reduce their prices, and a local representative to talk to instead of a call center.
