I used to love this company, they used to be thorough at each quarterly visit and prompt to come out in between visits if we had an issue. In the past few months we have had a rodent problem, in the garage and exterior of the house. They are supposedly treating for mice around the perimeter of our house but when an issue arises we cannot get them to come out to re-treat despite multiple calls and texts for weeks. From their website :

"5. Post-Treatment and Prevention

Follow-Up Visits: Scheduled as needed to monitor and adjust the treatment.
Prevention Tips: We offer advice on preventing future infestations through structural changes and sanitation practices.
6. Continuous Support

Ongoing Support: We remain available for any follow-up concerns.
Satisfaction Guarantee: We back our service with a satisfaction guarantee, ensuring your rodent issues are fully resolved."

They are not adhering to their stated policies. They claim to be so fully booked they cannot even stop by to check the bait stations or our garage despite being long term customers and paying for quarterly service.

Sadly, I would not recommend this company anymore.

I caution you about hiring this company unless you have time to manage them yourself and spend hours of your time making sure the job is done correctly. I’ll be as brief as possible.

Hired this company for normal service, they forgot rodent bait stations (according to the tech, who I approached during our service) and we got a rodent issue.

They recommended a 3-hour healthy home inspection to determine what work needed to be done to prevent future infestation. This was a decent experience, the tech recommended replacing our vents, rebuilding our crawl space door and replacing the vapor barrier. They missed the garage weather-stripping and attic caulking that a previous tech had pointed out, but I figured we’d focus on securing the crawl. Estimate for those two jobs was about $4k in total. Expensive, but I thought I was hiring the best.

They came out to rebuild the door and replace the vents. Instead, they stapled mesh over our existing vents (see pictures) and cut a piece of particle board for the crawl space door ($500 just this part, photo with blue frame), and put a 4 foot piece of steel pest block over one of my 1-foot long vents – without asking – instead of replacing that vent. They said the estimate didn’t include the extra digging/work that vent would need to be replaced – how is that the customer’s fault?

The tech also explained that he would have built the door better “had he known more” before he came, and we would likely still experience water issues. I also found a dead mouse in our yard that day that I assume they’d drug out from the crawl. I couldn’t believe the “quality” of work and escalated to the manager.

It took a full week and multiple reminders on my part to get a call back (I had already paid in full). The manager promised they’d come back and replace the vents and fix up the crawl space door, including installing new trim “as a favor,” and we’d get a discount after he investigated what went wrong. A week later, the manager was supposed to call me back before they came again, we had a call planned for 10:30 and he didn’t call me – he said he had it on his calendar for 11:30, I count this as another miss and proof the company is broken from the top down.

Instead of doing the job correctly, the techs installed vent covers over the old vents, again. They also fiddled around with the door, added two uneven handles to the particle board and used interior molding to frame the door, which I had to pay to have replaced with proper outdoor materials from a different company (photo with white moulding). I wish they hadn’t even touched it because they clearly didn’t know what they were doing.

I was promised a discount and never received one. I also feel like I was harassed by the manager and “another owner” to get on the phone after I told them I couldn’t invest any more of my personal time into resolving these issues -- I'd already spent 10+ hours documenting and discussing their errors. I work full-time, I don't have extra time to manage their business.

I paid the full bill and cancelled service. They have my card – if they wanted to grant me the refund/discount, they could have without having another phone call with me.

I think this is their MO – poor work, hope you don’t notice, if you do notice, multiple phone calls and delays to “make it right,” hoping it will also shut you up. That’s the only way I see all of these reviews being so high. BUYER BEWARE.

I will never work with this company again and I’ve told my neighbors, friends, family and now you to STAY AWAY unless you have endless money and patience for a job done poorly. Super disappointing.

Holly Hahn on Issaquah Pest Control

I switched to Issaquah Pest after being frustrated by my previous company. I’m a busy mom, business owner, pet owner and have a rather large home. My to do list is endless. I needed my trees cut back and weather stripping replaced to help keep mice out. Which I have not taken time to address cause-life… well after another reminder from our awesome tech Dane, I got a text from Taylor at the office with links to companies that they found for me to come do the services I need but haven’t had the energy to find. What?!? That’s a PA Job. Way above and beyond.

If you see this review and pass them up for something else, you may be nuts. :)

I researched the reviews of pest control company and selected Issaquah Pest & Home Services to deal with my stink bug and spider issues. But after the 1st service, I was disappointed with the results. We have a detached garage, and there seemed like many stink bugs under the eaves and top air outlet. They fly between the garage and the eaves on the second floor, sometimes go in to the room. I called the front desk and made an appointment for the service and then the inspected finished up on Wednesday. But till yesterday, I found that there was no change for my serious stink bug problem and the number hasn't decreased at all! And also, there were still some spiders are hanging from the pine tree in front of my house. To be honest, I'm not sure if the inspector checked and make sure the top place was sprayed with the pestiside. After all, I can DIY by myself for the first floor bug issues so that I expect to have the professional service for the better results. So I called the front desk and was told that I need to wait for more couple of weeks and wait the stink bugs to touch the pesticide and they can't control the new stink bugs flied from other places. But the truth is the weather is getting cold after a couple weeks and the bugs definitely won't come out. What about the current problem I met with? I'm pretty sure that they are not new and are multiplying under the eaves. Till now I'm still troubled with with the stink bugs. Overall, I won't use and recommend their pest control service.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common calls include ants, spiders, rodents, and seasonal wasps. Technicians inspect first to confirm activity and then tailor treatments to the home and time of year.

Many homes choose a recurring plan to keep a protective barrier in place throughout the year. Visit frequency can be adjusted based on pest pressure and homeowner preference.

Both are available. Exterior perimeter treatments are standard, and interior service is provided when activity is found indoors or by request.

Contact the office to discuss what you’re seeing so a follow-up can be scheduled. Photos and notes on where and when you see activity help the technician target the problem.

Products are applied according to label directions with care for people, pets, and property. Your technician can explain where treatments are placed and any brief precautions to follow.
