Recent reviews often mention thorough inspections, clear explanations from technicians, and smooth fumigation projects across multiple units. Some customers highlight helpful follow-up repairs and attention to detail. A few reviews cite communication gaps around post-fumigation follow-up and billing expectations. Pricing is generally described as competitive, though one reviewer reported a quoting concern.
I had an outstanding experience with Nextermite. Ricardo was our technician, and he was friendly, professional, and thorough from start to finish. He took the time to explain the scope of the work clearly and made sure all of our questions were answered. What really stood out was that he went above and beyond by patching parts of our roof sheathing and window trims at no extra charge. It’s clear he takes pride in his work and genuinely cares about doing the job right. We truly appreciate the extra effort and excellent service. Thank you, Ricardo!
My experience with Nix was marked by misquoting, poor internal communication, premature billing, and incomplete work — all of which created a frustrating and unnecessarily stressful process. Not only was I misquoted, but the owner actually came to my house to try to talk me out of their original quote because it would be way more expensive and way more invasive for them to fix — even though I had already received a quote for what was presented as a simple and clean repair. That alone felt unprofessional and misleading.Communication within the company was almost nonexistent. Their employees clearly weren’t talking to each other, and instead I was repeatedly put in the position of middleman, relaying information between their own staff. For example, I received calls asking for access codes that had already been provided to their inspector and were listed in my contact info. Rather than checking internally, they defaulted to calling me and creating unnecessary back-and-forth.Most concerning, they skipped items that were clearly listed on my estimate and seemed to hope I wouldn’t notice. On top of that, I was invoiced multiple times before the work was even completed, which felt premature and inappropriate.Overall, the experience felt uncoordinated, misleading, and stressful. Between the misquoting, poor internal communication, premature billing, and incomplete work, I would not recommend this company.UPDATE:Chris, after reviewing the original inspection and estimates, I want to clarify a few points for accuracy. The subterranean treatment was not “complimentary.” It was listed as a Section 1 item in the original report, contingent on enlarging sub-area access in order to perform the treatment. Access was never created, yet I was charged the same total amount as I would have been had treatment under the house been completed. The report specifically notes that sub access needed to be enlarged before treatment could be done and recommends building an access door and calling for reinspection. That never happened.I also remain concerned that the subterranean treatment itself was not completed — my turf was never pulled back, which does not align with what was outlined. In your voicemail, you acknowledged internal confusion due to an inspector leaving, technicians not knowing items on the scope, and billing being generated for work that wasn’t completed. While I understand staff changes happen, those internal issues directly impacted my experience as the homeowner.I was also contacted directly and asked to reconsider my review once my “memory was refreshed,” despite confirmation that work was not done, I was misquoted, and there were internal communication failures. My review reflects the full experience: misquoting, scope changes communicated after the fact, premature billing, unclear or skipped work, and being placed in the middle of internal communication breakdowns. I’m sharing this so future homeowners can make informed decisions and hire a company they can trust to complete the agreed-upon work.
Overall good job with fumigation. Travis was great with the initial inspection. Price was competitive. Could improve communication especially after the fumigation. No call, say a day after to see how things went and to follow up on the fence repairs ( they have to remove about a third of our side fence to accommodate the tent.. finally got it fixed a week later), no tile report which I paid for a roof tile warranty, they just said 7 tiles were broken. No idea if they were actually replaced. I feel I had to initiate all the follow up communication. Overall though we are satisfied.
Our row of 6 townhomes was tented for termites in mid-September 2025. All 4 rows (24 units total in complex) have been done by NIX. They do a great job, start to finish.
