Edit: I thought you'd understand why I put a negative review, but since you didn't, here's what I have to say.I strongly debated writing this review, but I've felt nothing but intense anxiety over what happened and do not want any potential customer to feel as awful as I do.I called because I wanted to have a second company look at a rodent problem in my crawlspace. Another pest control company had done so and quoted me $1200 to seal some vents. What ensued was a 31 minute and 19 second call where I was given advice on how to seal the crawlspace along with an advisory to schedule an appointment for the actual pest control service. I want it to be clear that I did not ask for advice. I did not request a long phone call. I wasn't trying to get a discount. I just wanted someone to confirm the presence of rodents and start baiting/trapping/etc.Circumstances changed. The repairs to my crawlspace turned into repairs to my foundation and crawlspace support beams. While I am thankful for the advice and am taking some of it into consideration, it is in no way information that I couldn't have found online, and it was not explicitly stated that customers should expect to pay for advice. When I called to cancel the pest control appointment (which includes signing a contact for a year's worth of service by the way), I was told I had to wait for a call back. That was the first red flag. What receptionist cannot cancel an appointment without speaking to a higher up?I didn't want to inconvenience anyone and thought it was unnecessary, but after spending over 6 minutes trying to explain why I didn't need the services, I understood why she wasn't allowed to do it herself. For those 6 minutes, my anxiety began to skyrocket because I was made to feel like an absolute burden. I was made to feel bad for the initial 30 minute call, where I was given advice that I appreciated but didn't necessarily ask for. I was told that call was actually an hour. Then, I was told that because of this advice I was saved over $2000, even though my initial quote from the other company was $1200, and I didn't ever plan to use their service anyway.I did not ask for a discount. I did not want another discount. I did not want to be relentlessly questioned and guilt tripped until I had to explain my tight financial situation. By the way, when I kindly told the guy who wanted $1200 to seal the vents that I was going to attempt to fix them myself, he told me "Absolutely. Thank you and have a great day!"You might not charge as much for your services, but you could certainly learn to respect the wishes of customers who want to cancel their service. That guy did.I gave you notice and signed no contract. I was under no obligation and was very polite, explaining myself when I should've just said goodbye. I even told you I'd consider getting quarterly treatments in the future because I just wanted the call to end. There won't be a future appointment now. If I need pest services, I'll go elsewhere. Also, it did not escape me that you sent a polite email summarizing our phone call, which is obviously in writing, while what was actually said during the call is not. I don't understand why you couldn't have just said all that during the call and moved on. It seems like you all are doing well business wise, so are you really that desperate for sales?I hope you understand why I'm upset, and please do better by your customers moving forward.
They offer a great service, reasonable price, and good communication. Unfortunately I had to cancel but its at absolutely no fault to them. The branch manager was very nice and helpful in offering solutions and I'd highly recommend them if you're looking for pest control.
An honest family owned business that truly cares about their customers! They have worked with us to keep us as customers and I would recommend them to everyone. We literally find dead bugs on the lines where they've sprayed. All kinds of bugs! So I know it works. We have had them come more than once for bugs that tried to infest our homes and they are always over asap. And John A. does a great job every time he comes out. We are thankful to him for his work at our home and thank you Diamond Pest Control!Everyone is so nice also!I would give more than five stars if I could.????????????
I'm pleased with the work John did in spraying the yard for pest control. He texted me when he was on his way. He also sent me pictures. Thank you job well done
I’m very impressed with the quality of the service, and at a very good price! Matthew just came out on a holiday and took care of a wasp nest that was between our window panes. He was very considerate and professional, and humble enough to call Eddie Spencer and ask for more advice on a tricky situation. Eddie has become a very good friend and he knows how to treat people with respect and consideration. It’s a great company all around! I’m going to recommend them to all my real estate clients and friends!
