One star cause you can't give zero. They said there was no charge to come and have a look to provide a quote. I was given very little advise, got no quote, no help and then was charged! I had specifically asked and was advised nothing would be charged without a quote and approval. Don't call these guys! Call someone who actually cares and can give good advice!
The technician Zach was awesome. Gave me good advice for what to do prior to them spraying. He was so easy to work with such a pleasant guy. My cat loved him too. The call centre person needs to pay more attention to the details but Zach made up for that.
I called 3 pest control companies to try to get someone to come to help with some ants. The other two companies had no one that could come for 3 weeks . One of them recommend Orkin . Barry showed up on time and was very knowledgeable . Barry was very friendly and took the time to bait inside and out white we wait for the weather to dry out so that he can spray the exteriors . Based on today’s service I would recommend Orkin especially Barry .
There seems to be a significant disconnect between the call centre and the technicians. While the call centre staff were polite, they did the bare minimum. I asked three times for my first name to be corrected, and it was still wrong on the invoice. The phone number on the invoice wasn’t in service, and despite providing my credit card and email for regular servicing, nothing was set up. When the technician arrived, he confirmed there was no email on file at all and updated my information himself. I was also told at booking that a rodent treatment would be done during the visit, but he was only scheduled for an inspection. Thankfully, he went above and beyond and completed the treatment anyway. He was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and helpful. I will continue with regular service solely because of him. Once everything is properly set up, I hope not to deal with the call centre again.
If I could give a 0 star, I would. Rob from Orkin came to spray for cockroaches. In 1 month, we found 5 or 6 dead cockroaches from the spraying. But we caught tons of live cockroaches on the sticky traps. We caught over 24 cockroaches in 5 days after a deep professional clean, the photos show 21-22 ones caught in the traps, with more stuck on traps in the cupboards. So we called in a new pest control company, and after 3 hours, we've already found 9 dead cockroaches from the spray, 17 dead cockroaches after 20 hours. Perhaps he forgot to fill his can before he sprayed. In any case, don't waste your money with these guys. They overcharge and don't care about doing a thorough or good job, and he didn't listen when I told him where the cockroaches were mostly seen. We live in a condo and Orkin seems to have the main contract and if he's doing this of kind job with the other units, it's no wonder the building is infested with cockroaches and continues to be infested for the past almost 2 years now. It pains me to write a bad review and I think its important to share my experience too. Go elsewhere if you want a job well done because you won't find it here.
