Matthew came out the next day after I called him to take care of a yellow jacket nest by my front walkway. He was very communicative over the phone, explained what he was going to do and let me know the price ($249) for the one-time service. From the time he arrived, he had taken care of the situation in about 30 minutes. I'm very happy with the results and would use him again for any future pest situations.
I never thought I'd need an exterminator for fleas here in northern Colorado, but apparently, rabbits brought fleas into my yard. It has been a nightmare for me and my dogs and my indoor cats who even got them! Matthew had a plan to rid my yard of fleas that was safe for my elderly tiny dogs. He was cautious not to spray any flowers (to reduce risk to pollinators). He put out bait boxes that would attract mice and rabbits to dust them with flea powder to kill the fleas on them since they were the vector that spread the fleas. Matthew's knowledge and communication were excellent. I trust him and felt comfortable with his plan, especiallybecausehe took my specific needs (elderly small dogs) into consideration. I called Poudre Valley Pest control for a bug issue that I couldn’t identify. Other companies had given me quotes upwards of $300, sight unseen. Poudre Valley Pest came out within a few hours, identified the problem, and told me how to fix the issue myself for $10. I always appreciate a company that won’t take advantage and try to upsell a customer! If we have issues in the future I will definitely be giving them a call.Oh, and a bonus, he was very sweet to my dogs :-)
Poudre Valley Pest Control is fantastic. They were able to respond quickly to our pest issue, find the root problem, resolve the problem quickly (within 24 hours), and came back a week later to make sure there were no further issues. Matthew is so patient, comforting, and understanding when dealing with such a stressful issue like pests. You can tell he really cares about his customers as well as the pests - his goal is to try to stop the problem at the root.
We had a mouse issue in our home. We’ve always had issues in the garage but they made their way inside. Poudre Valley Pest Control came out promptly and took a look. They were super courteous, professional, and very knowledgeable.
