Greenix Pest Control operates a Grand Rapids office serving nearby neighborhoods with residential pest management. Services are structured as recurring plans with inspections and targeted treatments for common area pests.
Local routes help technicians stay familiar with neighborhood pest patterns. The Grand Rapids team can outline a plan, explain what is being treated, and adjust on follow-up if activity continues.
Grand Rapids, East Grand Rapids, Kentwood, Wyoming, and adjacent communities, subject to route availability.
Typical requests include treatments for spiders and general crawling insects, rodent monitoring and trapping, and exterior barrier applications. Service plans commonly include periodic reservice visits and assessments of current pest activity.
Reviews frequently highlight thorough technicians and polite, communicative service during visits, with some customers noticing fewer spiders and rodents after treatments. Others raise concerns about pricing value, contracts, and difficulty canceling or aligning service frequency with monthly billing. Responsiveness to follow-ups is mixed, with some noting timely revisits and others reporting repeated issues. Overall ratings skew positive but with recurring comments about clarity of terms and cost expectations.
This is by far the best pest control service I have ever used. Our technician Kevin does a very thorough job! We have had a very noticeable decrease in mice, spiders, and many other pests in and around our home.
Service today was another inspection, which again was not worth $450 to $550. I have, to date, paid $450 for 4 home visits that include 4 bait boxes outside (can purchase on Amazon), approximately 8 snap traps inside (can also get on Amazon), and 2 sticky traps (....also Amazon). I have also already been charged $55 for the first month of their contract. The very awesome reps look at the traps inside, as I do every single day already, and then call it good. If they find a mouse, they will remove it. But if you get a mouse before they are due to come then you either leave its rotting corpse or remove it yourself. No mice today for me, though. I got an inspection of the outside that showed me possible entry points but if I want them to seal anything then it's another (AT LEAST) $130. They also won't seal anything that requires entering the attic in depth or climbing a ladder. So, although Roy and everyone else has been pleasant to deal with, I do not recommend this service based solely on cost. And if I want out of the $55 a month contract (that just gets me a tech once a month to check the bait boxes) then I have to pay another $250. In my moment of despair with finding a mouse, I could not grasp all of this and now deeply regret it. Again, very NICE COMPANY, but extremely overpriced with nothing that requires a professional to do.
Service is sub-par, but had to suffer through the contract. Had to be reserviced multiple times to help control the spiders outside my home. I have better luck with price and quality with Ortho Home Defense. My contract started October 10, 2024. When my contract ended was billed again on a month by month basis but they still only provide quarterly service, fine. I called to cancel thinking they should just cancel my account. Nope, manager said once you pay that $46 dollars I can cancel for you. I told him for what my contract is fulfilled initial payment and 11 month payments. He agreed with me but says I owe the $46 because it is a subscription. A subscription that you pay monthly to get serviced 4 times a year the first would be December 2025. Why would I pay the $46 for services not rendered?
Our experiences were terrible from start to finish. Lies were told day 1 so we cancelled. Young man was back to our door in a flash with his sob story. Gave us a different deal to sweeten the pot and apologize for his errors in honesty. Was to treat two adjoining properties. He failed to send new contract that said we could cancel at any time if not satisfied for $250 and monthly service fee was $140. He also said he would pay the cancellation fee if we felt we needed to cancel. We were charged $140 every month but the people who came to treat would never treat the adjoining property. There was always an excuse why the products were not working. Wasps do not lick themselves, etc. When we called to cancel as we had moved and could not oversee this service at all, Abigail was not very nice and charged a $399 cancellation fee. We paid just to be rid of your company and this unkind woman. Your products do not work sufficiently, your employees lie, and we are so glad to be rid of you even if we did pay much more than promised.
Alex was really Great! Thank you so much for sending him. He was very thorough and very helpful. I love when you guys send professional technicians out here. We could use more technicians like him. He was also very good at communicating with me. I feel like that is very important. He went above and beyond today.
