Orkin was a bad experience pretty much right from the start originally had them come in to take care of mice.. That was an up-and-down experience at least one no-show appointment. I called them recently due to an invasion of ants outside. They were supposed to come on Thursday. I had left them a message that I wouldn’t be home but go ahead and do the spraying. We had tarantula down on Thursday, but I saw that their truck was sitting in my driveway from 8 AM till I don’t know what time of course they can do the spraying it was pouring with no sign oh reprieve. They never called to reschedule the appointment or let me know any kind of status. It’s not the first time I have never gotten back with me. I’ve been so disappointed with this company since day one. I tried to cancel the other time and the manager supposedly called me and I agreed to give them another chance that chance is over. I paid them over $1000 for the service of Mice and rodents within a 10 foot radius from my house since they never came straight through the end I ended up just buying it from the store and doing it myself do it again in a couple of weeks. if it gets to a point where I need to use it, I’ll just call someone local. I will never recommend to anyone. In every instance, they apologized profusely. I told him I didn’t want their apologies. I just wanted them to do the job there to do. I would love to get my money back so I could buy some more of my own control. I don’t expect that to ever come and I am just not up to a fight.
The first representative that I talked to was great help and made me an appointment right away. I get a phone call the next morning that they changed my appointment to a week later. I call the day before my new appointment to verify that it is when I think it is. It is verified and we are all good to go. I leave my little brother and sister’s birthday party to wait at my house for 2 hours and no one shows up. I call the office and speak to a very unhelpful rep who constantly cuts me off and tells me that I will talk to a new representative in the morning. And I still have not gotten a call back to schedule a new appointment or even just to apologize for the inconvenience. Will be going to Redd.
I called to cancel my plan and Amanda that answered the phone had the nastiest attitude and very rudeWhen I asked to speak with a manager . She put me on hold and left me there. Whenever it an issue concerning payment . They get blow your phone up but soon as you have an issue a manager is not in office and don't don't know how to get int ouch with them.
Our Orkin rep is extremely knowledgeable, efficient and thorough. He answered all my questions with patience and understanding, knew all the details of his product and worked quickly in and outside of our home. We are very pleased with our local Orkin service!!
The techs were good most of the time. I did tell the last tech that sprayed that we were moving and that it would be last time sprayed. We also had our termite inspection done for closing by Orkin. The folks called to set up appointment for routine spray and again told them moving. Well, received a bill for the spraying that was not done and we were told that they needed a 30 day notice. Guess I thought telling the tech sufficed. Apparently, not. We will NEVER use orkin again!!!!
