Salesman Jim is a total scam artist. My tenants called Terminix to get rid of racoons in the attic. Jim quoted us $1500 for removal and $8K for attic restoration because there was "so much damage". Later I found out that he never inspected the attic. He lied and said there was too much stuff in the closet to access the attic. (Not true, my son's friends live in the house and went up there a couple times before calling Terminix) Jim did confirm that they were gaining access from a tree that had a branch touching the roof. I asked if we should trim the tree and he said no. Three days later the technician came out and put a trap on the ground, in the yard, near the tree. Our home is in a wooded area - not sure how they would know if what they caught was the one visiting our ttic. Because the racoons were coming and going, we informed the technician that they were out when he came for his daily check and asked if he could seal up the points of entrance. He said no because of the weather (even though Jim told me that they would be sealing the vents from the inside). I had until midnight five days after signing the contract to cancel (because of the weekend) and hand delivered the cancellation to the Kilgore road office which was not open despite the website saying they are open 24-hours. I paid my handman $100 to cut the tree branch and close up the loose vent and put your trap on the front porch for pick up. But that did not stop you from sending me an invoice for $1500. Shame on you.
Hunter is professional & respected me. I have dogs so there is one side of my home I dont have treated & I do not want the techs walking thru my dogs "safe zone". He understood & respected that.
Kenny Brown is such an asset to Terminix and was able to give me all the information I needed to assure me I had made the right choice to have Terminix protecting my home. What ever Terminix is paying him is not enough. Great asset and knows his business.
Brock did a wonderful job explaining everything today ie… where the rodents might be coming from, how they are getting in, future procedures, etc.. He looked around the outside of the house, he replaced and added traps, and made a suggestion for a further need. He was able to schedule a follow-up appt.
