Let me preface my saying I never leave one star reviews…. We used “Mathew” for bug services and 10/10 no complaints.However…. “Osmany Dilone” from Orchin called offering a free inspection for under our crawl space. Long story short they came out & said they found mold, elevated moisture levels, it “smelled” like mold and could barely breathe because of how bad it smelled. They offered to fix it saying they needed dehumidification system installation, new floor vapor, fungal growth treatment, crawl space sealant the list goes on.Quoted us $9,000 and had the crawl space drawn up in 10 minutes to sign.We’re a young couple & new home owners so of course we were upset and extremely worried. We couldn’t afford this but don’t want anything to happen to the house.Before we signed, one of my dad’s friends is a contractor and he came out the next day to look at it.He said there is absolutely nothing there. At all. No fungus, nothing wrong with it.Please be wary of this “special crawl space inspection” and get a second opinion.
