I’ve been an Orkin customer since approximately 1999. They do have a high turnover rate of technicians, and they do have a tendency to bump the price up without any warning. On occasion, I’ve been able to get them to bump it down a little bit because I’m such a longtime customer and this is probably one of the easiest jobs they have on their workday schedule. I am in a townhome on the second floor, where I do not request any indoor service. It is strictly outdoor and with the technician who knows my layout, well, they could do the whole thing in about seven minutes. But I still have been unsuccessful in making sure they know where my unit ends and where it begins. Today the technician ended at the second floor first window, which means of the exterior he missed about 65% of my home on the exterior and that’s what I’m paying for. It’s not really his fault for not understanding the layout of these townhomes, but it does have to be explained to each new technician and I understand that they have lots of clients and lots of properties they go to every day and I certainly do not expect them to memorize this. But I’ve tried everything. I’ve gone out with them and showed them, and then the next time the tech comes it’s somebody new and so I’ll show him and he’ll get it right and then the next service date he’ll come back and he’ll forget half of it and then the next service date it’ll be somebody new again. You’re probably wondering why I gave them five stars. Well I’m giving them a little break here and hoping they’ll give me a little break too. I’ve been a very consistent reliable customer for a super long time. The technician that was here early on with Orkin when I first started with them, his last name is VanDyke, and he was here for a number of years and knew exactly what to do inside and out. It was great. So I know it can be done. Maybe what I’ll do in the future when I know they’re coming is I will drop a map and hanging on the front door so that they will understand what is my home and what is not my home. I just now thought of that as I’m writing this review. I don’t wanna add photos to this review because I don’t wanna show the world my home.PS: my review wouldn’t post until I eliminated half of it. Google has a character limit when typing reviews but the problem is, they do not share that number with the reviewer. They kept asking for more information and told me you’re doing great people like this information keep going. So I did, and it wouldn’t let me post. So this review is cut off right in the middle of it sorry about that. Don’t take the message to me please, take the message to Google and have them at least put up a character count so that we’re not sitting here like dumb blanks thinking we can still type. Come on Google. You know that is so easy to do, why is it not here?
I have been using the Orkin service for several years now. It wasn't until I had a rodent issue at my residence that my Orkin representative Andrew came out to address the issue. He is not only extremely knowledgeable, he is very very thorough. He made sure the issue was resolved and went above and beyond. He has also resolved a number of insect issues as well as taking out a wasps nest! We now have requested him at several of our properties and he has never let us down. Andrew we are so grateful for you, and hope we continue to always have you as our service provider!! Thank you!!
Worse ever set appoint didn,t show. When it did not repel, they blame the customer. Never use them.
